บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

ดุษฎีนิพนธ์เล่มนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัย 3 ประการ คือ (1) ศึกษาความหมายและความสำคัญของธรรมนิยาย (2) วิเคราะห์เนื้อหาที่สอดคล้องกับหลักธรรมในธรรมนิยายของทมยันตี (3) นำเสนอรูปแบบและกลวิธีการสื่อธรรมนิยายของทมยันตี

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ธรรมนิยาย คือเรื่องเล่าที่มีเนื้อหาแฝงคติธรรม เป็นเรื่องเล่าที่มีผู้แต่งขึ้น เพื่อปลูกฝังคุณธรรมให้แก่สังคม นิทานธรรมบทของพระพุทธโฆษาจารย์ และธรรมนิยายของทมยันตี มีความสอดคล้องกันหลายประการ อาทิ ในการเล่าเรื่องมีตัวละคร และมีคำเปรียบเทียบ

รูปแบบและกลวิธีการเขียนธรรมนิยายของทมยันตี มีความแตกต่างจากรูปแบบและกลวิธีการเขียนธรรมนิยายทั่วไป ทมยันตีสื่อธรรมนิยายในรูปแบบเฉพาะตน  ที่ได้สั่งสมประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ การเขียน และการค้นคว้ามายาวนานถึง 60 ปี

ธรรมนิยายของทมยันตีกอปรด้วยศาสตร์หลายแขนง อาทิ ประวัติศาสตร์ ปรัชญา ศาสนา เทวศาสตร์ และวิทยาศาสตร์ โดดเด่นด้วยการผสมผสานด้านวรรณศิลป์ที่ลุ่มลึก งดงาม สามารถตรึงผู้อ่านให้สนใจติดตามแม้บางเรื่องยากที่จะเข้าใจหากไม่มีพื้นฐานมาก่อน นับว่าเป็นวิธีบูรณาการรูปแบบและกลวิธีการสื่อธรรมอย่างเหมาะสม กลมกลืน และชาญฉลาด

รูปแบบและกลวิธีการสื่อธรรมของทมยันตีที่สำคัญมี 4 ขั้นตอน คือ (1) แนวการเขียน (2) กำหนดเค้า โครงเรื่อง (3) ค้นและการคว้า (4) การสร้างสมาธิและเขย่าค็อกเทล (เขย่าค็อกเทลเป็นภาษาเฉพาะของทมยันตี)

ธรรมนิยายของทมยันตี ได้รับความนิยมมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และยาวนาน แต่ละเรื่องมีผู้นำไปตีพิมพ์ซ้ำนับสิบครั้ง อีกทั้งส่งอิทธิพลต่อผู้เขียนรุ่นใหม่ที่สนใจศึกษาเรียนรู้วิธีการสื่อธรรมนิยาย เพื่อเรียนรู้รูปแบบการประ พันธ์ธรรมนิยายที่มีคุณภาพ

ธรรมนิยายของทมยันตีสามารถสื่อพระธรรมคำสอนของพระพุทธองค์ ได้อย่างสอดคล้องลึกซึ้งและคม คาย ทั้งในส่วนที่เป็นหลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา และข้อคิดทางจริยธรรม ด้วยรูปแบบนวนิยายที่ให้ทั้งความสนุก ตื่นเต้น ชวนติดตาม และเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้นักอ่านมีความสนใจได้ค้นคว้า เกี่ยวกับหลักทางพระพุทธศาสนาในระดับลึกต่อไปอีกด้วย

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

This dissertation entitled A model and Communication Techniques in Tamayanti’s Dhamma Novels has three objectives: 1) to study meaning and importance of Dhamma novels, 2) to analyze contents that conform to Dhammic principles in Dhamma novels of Tamayanti, and 3) to propose the formation and Communication Techniques in Tamayanti’s Dhamma novels. This is a qualitative research.

The research findings showed that the Dhamma novels basically are of narrative contents based on morals the writer wanted to disseminate them to society. In this matter, Buddhaghosăcăra ya’s Dhammapada novels and Tamayanti’s novels accorded with one another in many ways, to wit, putting the actor and analogy in such and such narrations.

In this research, it was found that the model and communication techniques in Tamayanti’s Dhamma nobles are different from other types of novels by virtue of Tamayanti’s uniqueness in communicating Dhamma novels through her own experiences in terms of writings, and profound researches for more than 60 years. Based on those experiences, Dhamma novels of Tamayanti were said to hold various sciences like history, philosophy, religion, and science. Moreover, her masterpieces done through the combinations of language skill become remarkable and thereby making them enthralling, deep and beautiful in nature despite being difficult to understand. Viewed from this angle, it can be strongly claimed that those works were uniquely, harmoniously and intellectually integrated into the Model and techniques of Dhamma communication.

               As far as the model and communication techniques of Dhamma are concerned, they are divided into four steps: 1) theme of novel, 2) plot prescription, 3) research and development, and 4) meditation and “shaking cocktail” (shaking cocktail is a specific term used by Tamayanti, means combining all discovered information and extracting its core data to write Dhamma novels.

      In this research, it clearly showed that Dhamma novels written by Tamayanti come to gain popularity continuously for a long times with their numerous reprints of each book. They, furthermore, had made the considerable impact to new writers who are keenly interested in Tamayanti’s communicating methods of Dhamma by means of novels as a role model in order to compose their quality of Dhamma novels.

      In addition, Dhamma novels of Tamayanti had effectively conveyed the Buddha’s doctrines in the deep and concise manners, both Buddhist tenets and ethical dimensions through the senses of pleasure, excitement and gripping types. Consequently, they become the great sources of inspiration for readers in researching into Buddhism endlessly.
