การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน รูปแบบการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ 2) เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ 3) เพื่อเสนอการพัฒนารูปแบบการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี ได้แก่ การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณโดยใช้ประชากรทั้งหมด 396 คน สถิติที่ใช้ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและเชิงคุณภาพโดยการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 21 คน สนทนากลุ่ม จำนวน 10 รูป/คน

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า:

สภาพปัจจุบัน รูปแบบการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ พบว่า โรงเรียนวิถีพุทธในปัจจุบันมีการดำเนินงานอยู่ 3 ระดับ คือ 1) โรงเรียนวิถีพุทธทั่วไป 2) โรงเรียนวิถีพุทธชั้นนำ 3) โรงเรียนวิถีพุทธพระราชทาน โดยมีการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธมี 6 ขั้นตอน 1) การเตรียมการ 2) การดำเนินงานการจัดสภาพและองค์ประกอบ 3) การดำเนินการพัฒนาตามระบบไตรสิกขา 4) การดูแลสนับสนุนใกล้ชิด 5) การปรับปรุงและพัฒนาต่อเนื่อง 6) การประเมินผลและเผยแพร่ผลการดำเนินงาน

เสนอการพัฒนารูปแบบการดำเนินงานโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ 3 ประเด็น 1) ระบบเครือข่ายโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ 2) การสร้างแกนนำเยาวชนวิถีพุทธ 3) การพัฒนาชุมชนตามแนววิถีพุทธ โดยมีการพัฒนารูปแบบ 6 ขั้นตอน ดังนี้ 1) ศึกษาข้อมูล 2) กำหนดองค์ประกอบที่ใช้ 3) การออกแบบ 4) การนำไปใช้ 5) การประเมินผล 6) พัฒนาปรับปรุง โดยผลที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ ประเด็นที่ 1 ระบบเครือข่ายโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธ คือ 1.1 มีเครือข่ายกัลยาณมิตรวิถีพุทธทั่วประเทศ 1.2 มีกิจกรรมเชิงคุณภาพที่เครือข่ายดำเนินงานด้วยกัน ประเด็นที่ 2 การสร้างแกนนำเยาวชนวิถีพุทธ คือ 2.1 มีเยาวชนที่สามารถนำด้านศาสนพิธีและการปฏิบัติธรรม 2.2 มีเครือข่ายเยาวชนวิถีพุทธทั่วประเทศ ประเด็นที่ 3 การพัฒนาชุมชนตามแนววิถีพุทธ คือ 3.1 มีชุมชน บวร ที่เอื้อการพัฒนาวิถีพุทธ 3.2 มีกิจกรรมวิถีพุทธระหว่างโรงเรียนกับชุมชนอย่างต่อเนื่อง

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

The research consisted of the following objectives: 1) to study the current conditions of an operating model for Buddhist oriented schools; 2) to develop an operating model for Buddhist oriented schools; and 3) to present the development of an operating model for Buddhist oriented schools. The study applied mixed-methods research in which the quantitative data employed a population of 396 persons and the statistics used were percentage, mean, and standard deviation (S.D.). While the qualitative data was conducted by interviewing with 21 experts and group discussion with 10 persons.

The results of the research are found as follows:

The current conditions of an operating model for Buddhist oriented schools found that the Buddhist oriented schools at the present have 3 levels of operation:
1) The Buddhist oriented schools in general; 2) The leading Buddhist oriented schools; and 3) The Buddhist oriented schools under the Royal Patronage. There are 6 steps for the operation of Buddhist oriented schools: 1) Preparation; 2) The arrangement of conditions and components; 3) The development according to Trisikkhā (the Threefold Training); 4) The closely support; 5) The continuous improvement and development; and 6) The evaluation and dissemination of the operation results.

The presentation of the development of an operating model for Buddhist oriented schools is divided into 3 points: 1) The network system of Buddhist oriented schools; 2) Building the Buddhist oriented youth leaders; 3) The Buddhist community development by which there are 6 steps for the development: 1) Studying the information; 2) Identifying the used components; 3) Designing; 4) Utilization;
5) Evaluation; and 6) Improvement. The expected results are divided as follows: the 1st point on the network system of Buddhist oriented schools by 1.1) having a network of Kalyāṇamitta (good company) nationwide and 1.2) having quality activities that operate together with the network; the 2nd point on building the Buddhist oriented youth leaders which are 2.1) having youth who can lead the religious ceremony and meditation and 2.2) having Buddhist oriented youth network nationwide; and the 3rd point on the Buddhist community development which are 3.1) having the community of “village, monastery, and school” that supports the Buddhist oriented development and 3.2) having Buddhist oriented activities between schools and communities continuously.
