การวิจัยเรื่อง “บทบาทของพระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ (นวล ปริสุทฺโธ) ในการพัฒนาชุมชน” โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย ดังนี้1) เพื่อศึกษาชีวิตและผลงานของพระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ (นวล ปริสุทฺโธ)2) เพื่อวิเคราะห์บทบาทในการพัฒนาชุมชนของพระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์(นวลปริสุทฺโธ)การดำเนินงานวิจัยครั้งนี้ ผู้วิจัยได้ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) โดยการศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารงานวิจัยและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (Indepth Interview)จากผู้ให้ข้อมูล จำนวน 9 รูป/คน ซึ่งเป็นผู้ให้ข้อมูลที่สำคัญ(Key Informant) โดยมุ่งเน้นที่จะศึกษาถึง บทบาทและผลงานการพัฒนาชุมชนของพระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ (นวล ปริสุทฺโธ) ได้แก่ ด้านการสงเคราะห์ชุมชน, ด้านการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์, ด้านการศึกษาและการเผยแผ่หลักคำสอนทางพระพุทธศาสนา, ด้านการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาภูมิปัญญาชาวบ้าน, ด้านการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรและสิ่งแวดล้อม, ด้านการสาธารณูปการในชุมชน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. พระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ (นวล ปริสุทฺโธ) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 13 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2465 ในครอบครัวเกษตรกรรม ที่บ้านใสหร้า ตำบลบางรูป อำเภอทุ่งใหญ่ จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ได้อุปสมบท เมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2485 ที่อุโบสถวันภูเขาหลัก ตำบลทุ่งสัง อำเภอทุ่งใหญ่ จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช โดยมีพระครูถาวรบุญรัตน์ (บุญคง)พุทฺธรกฺขิโต เป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์ และหลวงพ่อแดง อิสฺสโร เจ้าอาวาสวัดภูเขาหลักพระกรรมาจารย์ หลังจากบรรพชาจำวัดที่วัดประดิษฐาราม ตำบลบางรูป อำเภอทุ่งใหญ่ จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ตลอดชีวิตของพระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ (นวล ปริสุทฺโธ) ท่านมีผลงานทางการปกครองคณะสงฆ์อย่างโดดเด่น ได้รับการแต่งตั้งสมณศักดิ์และตำแหน่งทางการปกครองคณะสงฆ์มาตามลำดับ คือ ได้รับพระราชทานสมณศักดิ์เป็นพระครูสัญญาบัตรชั้นตรีที่พระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ ในปี พ.ศ. 2505 และในปี พ.ศ. 2526 ได้รับพระราชทานสมณศักดิ์เป็นพระครูสัญญาบัตรชั้นโท ในพระราชทินานามเดิม คือ “พระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์” ทางด้านการปกครองคณะสงฆ์ได้รับแต่งตั้งเป็นเจ้าคณะตำบลทุ่งสัง ในปี พ.ศ. 2508 ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นเจ้าอาวาสวัดประดิษฐาราม (วัดไสหร้า) ในปี พ.ศ. 2515 และได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์ ในปี พ.ศ. 2518 พระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ (นวลปริสุทฺโธ) ได้มรณภาพหลักจากเข้ารับการรักษาที่โรงพยาบาลบำรุงราษฎร์ กรุงเทพมหานคร เมื่อวันที่11 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2555 สิริอายุรวม 90 ปี 70 พรรษา มีผลงานทั้งด้านการปกครองคณะสงฆ์และด้านการพัฒนาชุมชนเป็นที่ยอมรับกันอย่างแพร่หลาย

2. พระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ (นวล ปริสุทฺโธ) มีบทบาทในการพัฒนาชุมชนจำแนกเป็น 8 บทบาท คือ 1)  บทบาทการเป็นผู้นำทางจิตใจ 2) บทบาทการพัฒนาจิตใจ 3) บทบาทการเป็นผู้เรียนรู้ 4) บทบาทการเป็นผู้สอนศีลธรรม 5) บทบาทการเป็นที่ปรึกษา 6) บทบาทเป็นผู้ปลุกจิตสำนึก 7) บทบาทการเป็นผู้อนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม และ 8) บทบาทการเป็นผู้รวมกลุ่ม มีผลงานในการพัฒนาชุมชนจากบทบาททั้ง 8 จำแนกได้ 6 ด้าน คือ 1) ด้านการสงเคราะห์ชุมชน ได้ก่อตั้งมูลนิธิพ่อท่านนวล และให้การช่วยเหลือชุมชนในด้านต่างๆ 2) ด้านการพัฒนาทรัพย์มนุษย์ ได้จัดตั้งศูนย์เด็กก่อนเกณฑ์ในวัด จัดตั้งโรงเรียนเอกชนการกุศล และศูนย์พระพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์ 3) ด้านการศึกษาและเผยแผ่หลักคำสอนพระพุทธศาสนา ได้จัดตั้งศูนย์ฝึกสติปัฏฐาน 4 ศูนย์อบรมคุณธรรมจริยธรรม4) ด้านการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาภูมิปัญญาชาวบ้าน ได้ส่งเสริมคนในชุมชนมาทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันเสมอ ทั้งในงานบุญประเพณีต่างๆ เพื่อรักษาไว้ให้เยาวชนรุ่นหลังได้ดูกัน เช่น งานเทศกาลเดือนสิบ งานทานไฟ งานตำข้าวเม่า5) ด้านการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรและสิ่งแวดล้อมโดยการร่วมกับชุมชนช่วยกันปลูกสวนป่ารอบบริเวณโรงเรียนวัดประดิษฐาราม และสวนยางในชุมชนปลูกแซมด้วยพันธุ์ไม้ต่างๆ และท่านยังได้พัฒนาทรัพยากรและสิ่งแวดล้อมรอบๆ บริเวณวัดจนเป็นผลที่ทำให้วัดได้เป็นอาราม๖) บทบาทด้านการสาธารณูปการในชุมชนโดยเป็นผู้ริเริ่มในการบริจาค และชักชวนชาวบ้านผู้มีฐานะในการบริจาคเพื่อสร้างสิ่งต่างๆ ที่เป็นประโยชน์ในชุมชน เช่น ถนน สะพาน และโรงพยาบาล เป็นต้น ผลงานการพัฒนาชุมชนของพระครูวิสุทธิบุญดิตถ์ (นวล ปริสุทฺโธ) ปรากฏต่อชุมชนทั้งในระดับบุคคล ชุมชน และสังคม เป็นที่ประจักษ์แก่ศิษยานุศิษย์ และคนในชุมชนจะเห็นว่าเกิดประโยชน์กับบุคคล ทำให้เกิดความรู้ความเข้าใจในหลักธรรมะสำหรับการดำเนินชีวิต ส่งเสริมความเชื่อความศรัทธาในพระพุทธศาสนา ประโยชน์ที่เกิดกับสังคม เป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจของประชาชนในชุมชน ทำให้ชุมชนและสังคมมีความรักสามัคคี ช่วยสร้างศรัทธาให้เกิดขึ้นกับคณะสงฆ์ และช่วยสร้างสาธารณูปการในวัดต่างๆ ประโยชน์ที่เกิดขึ้นกับพระพุทธศาสนา ทำให้ประชาชนมีความมั่นคงในพระพุทธศาสนา และปฏิบัติตามคำสอนของพระพุทธศาสนาได้อย่างถูกต้อง

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

The study entitled on “The role of Phrakhru Wisutthibunyadit (Nuan Parisuddho) in Community Development” aimed to study life and work of Phrakhru Wisutthibundit (Nuan Parisuddho) and to analyze the role of Phrakhru Wisutthibunyadit (Nuan Parisuddho) in community development. In this study, the qualitative research was conducted based on data from research and In-depth Interview from 9 key informants focusing on Phrakhru Wisutthibunyadit’s (Nuan Parisuddho) the role and works in community development i.e. community assistance, human resources development, education and propagation of Buddhist doctrine, promotion and development of folk wisdom, conservation of resources and environment, and community facilities.

Findings revealed the followings:

1.Phrakhru Wisutthibundit was born in May 13, 2465 (B.E.) to the peasant family in Saira village, Bangrupsub district, Toongyai district, Nakhon si thammarat province and was ordained in May 24, 2485 (B.E.) at Uposatha Hall of Watkhaolak, Toongsangsub district, Toongyai district, Nakhon si thammarat provicne in which Phrakhru Thawonbunrat (Bunkong Buddharakkitto) was the preceptor and Luangpodaeng, the abbot of Wat Phukhaolak, was the act announcing teacher. After ordination, Phrakhru Wisutthibunyadit spent his life in Wat Pradittharam, Bangrup sub-district, Toongyai district, Nakhon si thammarat Province. Throughout his life, Phrakhru Wisutthibunyadit (Nuan Parisuddho) had outstanding monastic administration till he had been  appointed to do Sangha administrative posts  in consecutive times, that is the Phrakhrusanyabatchan-tri titled ‘Phrakhru Wisutthibundit’ in 2505 (B.E.) and in 2526 (B.E.) Phrakhrusanyabatchan-tho under the same title conferred by the king ‘Phrakhru Wisutthibunyadit. In his Sangha administrative post, he was appointed as theEcclesiastical chief of the village of Toonsangsub-district in 2508 (B.E.), as the abbot of Wat Pradittahram (Wat Saira) in 2515 (B.E.), as the preceptor in 2518 (B.E.). He was hospitalized at Bamroongrat Hospital, Bangkok and passed away on May 11, 2555 (B.E.) at the age of 90 and 70 years(year of ordination) with recognized and outstanding Sanghaadministrative works and community development works.

2. Phrakrua Witsuthabundit (Nual Parisuddho) played the role in community development, classified into 8 roles as follows: 1) the role of mental leadership, 2) the role of mental development, 3) the role as a learner, 4) the role as a morality teaching, 5) the role of the consultant, 6) the role of the awareness raiser, 7) the role of the conservation of natural resources and the environment, and 8) the role as a grouper with 6 types of community development activities, namely, 1) community assistance by establishing Portan Nuan Foundation to assist community in various ways, 2) human resources development by establishing a pre-school children center in the temple, establishing acharity school of Buddhist temple and Buddhist Sunday school, 3) Education and propagation of Buddhist doctrines and Mindfulness Training center, 4) setting up training center for moral education, 4) the promotion and development of folk wisdom  encouraging people in the community to do activities together in the traditional activities to  preserve  them for the younger generation, such as the Tessakanduansipfestival, Tanfai  and Khaomao festival, 5) the conservation of resources and environment by joining with the community to do plant forest plantation around Wat Pradittharam school and rubber plantations in the community. Also, Phrakrua Witsuthabunyadit (Nual Parisuddho)developed the resources and environment around, 6) the role of community facilities by initiating the donation persuaded the rich villagers to donate to construct useful public facilities such as roads, bridges, and hospitals. Phrakru Wisutthibunyadit’s community development is known to the community at individual, community, and society. His works are beneficial to people in terms of dhamma understanding for daily life and also promotes faith in Buddhism and people are supported to unite and correctly follow the Buddha’s teaching.
