ดุษฎีนิพนธ์เรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการบริหารการจัดการของโรงเรียนพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์ 2) เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการบริหารการจัดการสู่ความเป็นเลิศของโรงเรียนพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์และ 3) เพื่อเสนอรูปแบบการบริหารการจัดการสู่ความเป็นเลิศของโรงเรียนพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์ เป็นการวิจัยผสมผสานวิธี มีขั้นตอนการวิจัย 3 ขั้นตอน คือ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 ศึกษาสภาพการบริหารการจัดการของโรงเรียนพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์ใช้แบบสอบถามครูสอน 109 รูป/คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติ ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ขั้นตอนที่ 2 พัฒนารูปแบบ ด้วยการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก 10ท่าน ด้วยแบบสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งมีโครงสร้าง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา และขั้นตอนที่ 3 เสนอรูปแบบ ด้วยการสนทนากลุ่มผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 9 ท่าน ด้วยแนวคำถามสำหรับการสนทนากลุ่ม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า:

1.  สภาพการบริหารการจัดการของโรงเรียนพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์ในภาพรวมมีระดับการปฏิบัติอยู่ในระดับมากทั้ง 7 ด้าน คือ หลักสูตร การบริหาร การวัดผลประเมินผล ครูสอน นักเรียน การเรียนการสอน และแหล่งเรียนรู้

2.  การพัฒนารูปแบบการบริหารการจัดการสู่ความเป็นเลิศของโรงเรียนพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์มี 5 องค์ประกอบ คือ 1) หลักการ 2) จุดมุ่งหมาย 3) ระบบการดำเนินการ 4) กระบวนการดำเนินการ ประกอบด้วย (1) การบริหารจัดการโรงเรียนแบบวัด บ้าน โรงเรียน (บวร) (2) การมีส่วนร่วมการบริหารหลักสูตร (3) ครูสอนมีลักษณะเป็นบุคคลแห่งการเรียนรู้ (4) การพัฒนาผู้เรียนให้เป็นมนุษย์ที่สมบูรณ์ ดี เก่ง มีความสุข (5) การจัดการเรียนการสอนวิถีพุทธบูรณาการกับศาสตร์สมัยใหม่ (6) แหล่งเรียนรู้สะอาด ร่มรื่น ปลอดภัย เชื่อมโยงกับภูมิปัญญาไทย (7) การประเมินผลแบบกัลยาณมิตร และ 5) การประเมินผล

3. รูปแบบการบริหารการจัดการสู่ความเป็นเลิศของโรงเรียนพุทธศาสนาวันอาทิตย์ เป็นการบริหารจัดการโรงเรียนแบบมีส่วนร่วม (บวร) และเป็นการพัฒนาคนให้เป็นมนุษย์ที่สมบูรณ์ ทั้งร่างกาย จิตใจ สติปัญญา ความรู้ ควบคู่กับมีคุณธรรมจริยธรรม และวัฒนธรรมในการดำรงชีวิต สามารถอยู่ร่วมกับผู้อื่นได้อย่างมีความสุข

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

The objectives of this dissertation were: 1) to study the state of management in Buddhist Sunday Schools, 2) to develop a model of management for the excellence of Buddhist Sunday Schools, and 3) to propose the model of management for the excellence of Buddhist Sunday Schools. The mixed research method was used in the study. The research procedure was divided into 3 steps; (1) to study the state of Buddhist Sunday Schools from 109 teachers by using questionnaires and analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation, (2) to develop a model by semi-structured in-depth interviews with 10 key-informants and analyzed by content analysis, and (3) to propose the model by connoisseurship with 9 experts and analyzed by content analysis.

The results of the study found that:

1. The state of management in Buddhist Sunday Schools in 7 aspects; curriculum, administration, evaluation, teachers, students, teaching and learning, and learning resource, was at a high level totally.

2. The development of management model for the excellence of Buddhist Sunday Schools consisted of 5 factors; 1) principle, 2) objective, 3) operation system, 4) operation process consisting of (1) triangular co-management of school with collaboration of temple, community and school, (2) co-management in curriculum,
(3) teachers having characteristics of learning persons, (4) to develop the learners to be completed with intellectual, goodness and happiness, (5) integration of Buddhist based learning management with modern sciences, (6) the cleanliness, tidiness and Thai wisdom relation of learning resource and (7) friendly evaluation, and
5) evaluation.

3. The model of management for the excellence of Buddhist Sunday Schools is to manage the school with cooperation and is to develop the learners to be completed with physical and mental quality, intellectual, knowledge, characteristics, morality and life-living culture in living with others in society happily and peacefully.
