บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

 การวิจัยเรื่องความกรุณาของคนในตำบลยายชาอำเภอสามพรานจังหวัดนครปฐม เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยใช้หลักธรรมพรหมวิหาร 4   แนวคิดเรื่องความกรุณา  ทฤษฎีการมีส่วนร่วม ทฤษฎีวิวัฒนาการ  เป็นกรอบในการวิจัย ซึ่งมีพื้นที่ในสนามวิจัยคือ 6 หมู่บ้าน ในตำบลยายชา  ประชากรผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ 32 คน ผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีการเก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและมีการสัมมนากลุ่มย่อย  วิธีการเลือกกลุ่มเป้าหมาย  ผู้วิจัยเลือกเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงเพื่อให้ตรงกับวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย  การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ใช้การตีความจากบทสัมภาษณ์และบรรยายสรุปเชิง พรรณนาให้สอดคล้องกับหลักพระพุทธศาสนา 

        ผลการวิจัยพบว่าวิวัฒนาการของความกรุณา การส่งมอบความกรุณา  การดำรงอยู่ของความกรุณา ของคนในตำบลยายชา มีวิวัฒนาการของการเกิดความกรุณาอยู่ในจิตใจของคนทุกคนที่นี่เสมือนอยู่ในสายเลือดตั้งแต่บรรพบุรุษสืบทอดมาจนถึงปัจจุบันเป็นปทัสถานของคนพื้นถิ่นฐานเดิม    การส่งมอบความกรุณา มีกลไกที่ยึดความต้องการของคนเป็นสำคัญ  สอดคล้อง และปรับเปลี่ยนได้ตามสถานการณ์ โดยผ่านผู้นำชุมชน  มีการสร้างกลุ่มจิตอาสา  ขยายเครือข่ายความสัมพันธ์ในลักษณะที่เปลี่ยนจากการเป็นผู้รับมาเป็นผู้ให้แก่ชุมชน จนสามารถสร้างศรัทธาและ ต่อยอด มีการจัดการความรู้เพื่อสร้างเอกลักษณ์เป็นชุมชนเชิงพุทธที่ประกอบด้วยอริยะมรรคองค์ 8 เพื่อการดำรงอยู่ของความกรุณาและส่งเสริมให้เป็นชุมชนตามหลักพุทธจริยศาสตร์              

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

              This thesis is an exploration of the compassion of people in Yaicha Subdistrict, Samphran District, Nakhonpathom Province. This is a qualitative research using the principle of Brahma Vihara IV; The concept of compassion, The theory of people’s participation and The evolutionary theory as the core framework of this research. The findings of this research were carried out based on the 6 selected villages in Yaicha Subdistrict. There were ๓๒ research participants involved. The qualitative data collection was obtained through in-depth interviews and small group seminars. The method used in selecting the target participants was based on the specific purpose in that; this has to serve the research objectives accordingly. Data analysis and in-depth interpretation of the interviews were used in accordance to the principles of Buddhism.

​                The findings of the study showed that the evolution of compassion, the offering of kindness and the sustainability of compassion of people in Yaicha Subdistrict were the reflection of the evolution of benevolence ingrained in the hearts of the residences here as in the blood from their ancestors from the past to the present. The passing of compassion is a mechanism that is based on human needs; the consistency and the adjustability were according to the given situation. These were also influenced by the community leaders who have created volunteer groups expanding the network of relationships in a way that transforms the people from being the recipients to community givers. Eventually, being able to build faith of the people as well as instill the knowledge of management skills to create a unique Buddhist community practicing the values of Ariyamanka VIII. This indeed is serving the purpose of the existence of compassion and to promote this core value of kindness as a community according to the ideal Buddhist ethies.
