การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง "กลยุทธ์ในการบริหารจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ อำเภอเมืองนครสวรรค์  จังหวัดนครสวรรค์  ตามหลักสาราณียธรรม” มีวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการบริหารจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ 2) เพื่อวิเคราะห์การบริหารจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ ปากน้ำโพ ตามหลักสาราณียธรรม 3) เพื่อนำเสนอกลยุทธ์ในการบริหารจัดการจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ ปากน้ำโพ ตามหลักสาราณียธรรม 

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ ดำเนินการตามระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) โดยใช้วิธีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ศึกษาวิเคราะห์ในเชิงเอกสาร (Documentary Research) และ ใช้เครื่องมือ คือ แบบสัมภาษณ์ เป็นการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ (Key Informants) ที่ถูกเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง จำนวน 40 รูป/คน เพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูล ข้อเท็จจริงเชิงพื้นที่ แล้วนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ กำหนดกรอบแนวคิดในการวิจัย จัดทำองค์ความรู้ และกำหนดกลยุทธ์ในการบริหารจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ อำเภอเมืองนครสวรรค์ จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ ตามหลักสาราณียธรรม

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. สภาพปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการบริหารจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่  ปากน้ำโพ  คือ คณะกรรมการจัดงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ (เถ่านั้ง) อยู่ในวาระเพียง 1 ปี ทำให้การบริหารงานไม่ต่อเนื่อง และปัญหาในด้านกระบวนการในการบริหารจัดการ เช่นการจัดระเบียบการจราจรไม่ครอบคลุม สถานที่จอดรถไม่เพียงพอสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยว การประชาสัมพันธ์ ไม่ครบทุกช่องทาง และงบประมาณไม่เพียงพอในการบริหารจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ ให้โดดเด่นและยิ่งใหญ่ โดยใช้หลักในการบริหารมาแก้ปัญหาและอุปสรรคต่างๆ

2. วิเคราะห์การบริหารจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ อำเภอเมืองนครสวรรค์ จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ ตามหลักสาราณียธรรม พบว่า กระบวนการในการบริหารจัดการ   ของคณะกรรมการจัดงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ บริหารโดยการมีส่วนร่วมของคณะทำงานทุกฝ่ายซึ่งเกิดจากความสามัคคีในการทำงานร่วมกันแสดงแนวคิดและวิธีการเผยแพร่ประชาสัมพันธ์การจัดงาน มีการบูรณาการระหว่างภาคีเครือข่าย มีการช่วยเหลือเกื้อกูลกัน โดยสนับสนุนงบประมาณในการจัดงานฯ การประมูลสิ่งของเพื่อนำเงินเข้ามูลนิธิฯ ตลอดจนชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนและประชาชนผู้ศรัทธาในสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ถือศีล กินเจ ในช่วงการจัดงาน และ  การจัดงานประเพณีแห่เจ้า-พ่อเจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ เป็นประเพณีที่จัดสืบทอดกันมาตั้งแต่บรรพบุรุษ มาถึงรุ่นลูกรุ่นหลาน ยาวนานกว่า 100 ปี ซึ่งเมื่อวิเคราะห์แล้วพบว่า หลักธรรมที่แฝงไว้ในกิจกรรมดังกล่าว เป็นหลักธรรมแห่งการอยู่ร่วมกันนั้นก็คือหลักสาราณียธรรม

3. กลยุทธ์ในการบริหารจัดการงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ ตามหลักสาราณียธรรม ผู้วิจัยได้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลสำคัญโดยใช้เครื่องมือในการวิเคราะห์ คือ SWOT Analysis และ  TOWS Matrix ในการพัฒนาการจัดงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ ให้สามารถส่งเสริมและ              ต่อยอดการท่องเที่ยวสู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน โดยใช้มิติทางศาสนาและวัฒนธรรมมาเชื่อมโยงสู่ความเป็นเลิศ ได้ดังนี้

3.1 พัฒนามาตรฐานการจัดงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ โดยใช้อัตลักษณ์ คือ ความเชื่อ ความศรัทธาสู่การพัฒนาทุนทางวัฒนธรรมให้เกิดมูลค่าเพิ่ม

3.2 สร้างความเข้าใจให้กับคณะกรรมการจัดงานฯ ในด้านการนำนวัตกรรมใหม่ๆ เข้ามาสนับสนุนการจัดงานฯ โดยไม่มีผลกระทบต่ออัตลักษณ์ของชุมชน

3.3 ใช้อัตลักษณ์ของงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ เป็นจุดขาย

An in-depth interview with 40 important informants was undertaken as part of the documentary study, and the tool was a specialized method of obtaining information. The findings revealed that:
