The research study the effectiveness of community welfare fund management of Umong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lamphun Province. The purpose of this research was 1. to study the level of community welfare fund management effectiveness of Umong Sub-district Municipality, Mueang District, Lamphun Province, 2) to compare the effectiveness of community welfare fund management of Umong Sub-district Municipality, Mueang District, Lamphun Province, classified by personal factors. and 3) to study ways to increase the effectiveness of community welfare fund management according to Buddhist principles of Umong Subdistrict Municipality, Muang District, Lamphun Province. This research is an integrated research method. Both quantitative and qualitative research Data was collected from a sample of 356 people and 10 key informants or people. Collect data from all units of the population and collect data using questionnaires. The data were then analyzed using a package for social science research, to find the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested by t-test and F-value with one-way analysis of variance. When differences were found, the pair differences were tested by the least significant difference method. The information from the interview. The researcher grouped the data according to the subject matter of the interview. Then do a content analysis.

                The results showed that:

               1. Opinions on the management of the community welfare fund of Umong Subdistrict Municipality according to the principle of view It was found that the people in Umong Subdistrict. The average opinion is included at a high level. When classified by side, it was found that protection in the order of the most. Followed by the aspect of life and the Kalyànamittatà side as for the Uññhànasampadà in lowest order and the effectiveness of community welfare fund management found that people in Umong sub-district the average opinion is included at a high level. In terms of efficiency in the order of the most followed by the change, and the lowest average was production and satisfaction, and development respectively.

           2. Comparison of the effectiveness of community welfare fund management of Umong Subdistrict Municipality classified by personal factors (Hypothesis testing) by analyzing the diferences according to the classification according to personal factors, including gender, age, education level, occupation and income.

               3. Guidelines for enhancing the effectiveness of community welfare fund management according to Buddhist principles of Umong Subdistrict Municipality according to the principle of Ditthadhammikattha, the members should be encouraged to be diligent in earning a living. The honest emphasize on efficient fund management.  Fund members and fund committee members must be a person with good morals have diligence in their careers. There is a principle of Sangkhahawatthu Dharma in the mind. And should encourage members to know how to manage their own lives appropriately. Knowing moderation according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy have a proper existence according to their own conscience. Know how to set income and expenses, spend economically, live life with carelessness.
