บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย
This research studied of academic achievement of the 2nd-year higher vocational certificate students using exercises to enhance Chinese translation skills at foreign language department, Ayutthaya Technological Commercial College. The purposes of this research were 1) to develop the instruction utilizing Chinese to enhance Chinese Translation skills of the 2nd-year higher vocational certificate students. 2) to compare the result of pre-test and post-test about translation of Chinese to Thai by percentage. 3) to study satisfaction of the 2nd-year higher vocational certificate students after using enhance exercises Chinese translation skills of foreign language department, Ayutthaya Technological Commercial College. This research is one group pretest-posttest design with qualitative. Research area was Ayutthaya Technological Commercial College, Ayutthaya Province. The target group is 19 students at the 2nd-year higher vocational certificate level in the foreign language department, in the second semester of the 2022 academic year at Ayutthaya Technological Commercial College. The research instruments consisted of 12 lesson plans taught by exercises to develop Chinese-Thai translation skills, pre-test and post-test, and students’ satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results of this research were found that:
1. Develop the instruction utilizing Chinese to enhance Chinese translation skills of the 2nd-year higher vocational certificate students in the foreign language department, Ayutthaya Technological Commercial College. The researcher had created the manual of Chinese-Thai translation skills for teaching and learning.
2. Comparison result of pre-test and post-test about translation of Chinese to Thai of the 2nd-year higher vocational certificate students using exercises to enhance Chinese translation skills at foreign language department, Ayutthaya Technological Commercial College. It is found that the score of testing after using Chinese-Thai translation exercises is ( = 8.11 ,S.D. = 1.24) higher than before using Chinese-Thai translation exercises ( = 3.74 ,S.D. = 1.56) with Statistically significant.05
3. Study satisfaction of the 2nd-year higher vocational certificate students after using enhance exercises Chinese translation skills of foreign language department indicates that the satisfaction of the students after using Chinese -Thai translation exercises is average mean score 4.31 at very satisfied level.
