In this dissertation, three objectives were purposely made: 1) to study the management theory for conserving marine environment of Chulabhorn 36 marine park project, Chulabhorn Research Institute, 2) to study the principles of Buddhism used in management conserving marine environment of Chulabhorn 36 marine park project,  Chulabhorn Research Institute, and 3) to analyze the Buddhist integrated management model for conserving marine environment of Chulabhorn 36 marine park project,  Chulabhorn Research Institute. This research employed a qualitative research methodology done by field research where its tool comprised of in-depth interview of 21 key informants for collecting data and then contents analysis was also made through the inductive description.

     The research results clearly showed that the management for conserving marine environment of the Chulabhorn 36 marine park project, Chulabhorn Research Institute, started from the need to promote conservation of marine environment where the project is assigned to be the center for coordinating operations and for disseminating information and knowledge to the public by which the value and importance of marine resources  could be concretely actualized leading to  the full cooperation from both the public and private sectors. In this project, the training of general people is provided in many active forms such as training of divers for conservation, marine conservation youth camp training to cultivate awareness to love and cherish the marine environment, for instance. The Buddhist principles used in such a management embrace the following ones:  the sublime states of mind, mindfulness, and moral shame and moral dread. While carrying out the study, a researcher has reviewed related literatures and conducted in-depth interviews whereby a Buddhist integrated conservative marine environmental model of Chulabhorn 36 marine park project, Chulabhorn Research Institute, could be considerably named as the 5-Good Model, consisting of (1) good children, (2) good students, (3) good friends, (4) good religious people, and (5) good citizens respectively. Since Chulabhorn 36 marine park project provides the moral cultivation to people of all genders and ages for being a good man and a part in conserving and taking care of marine environment whereby certain knowledge on natural environment could be also given which would create positive cooperation and love without harming one another through the application of the mentioned Buddhist principles to daily practices in the concrete ways.
