The objectives of this research are 1) To study the promotion of political participation of citizens that affects confidence in the democratic governance of political parties. Bangkok, 2) To study factors promoting political participation of citizens that affect confidence in democratic governance of political parties in Bangkok. and 3) To apply Buddhist principles to promote political participation of citizens, which affects confidence in the democratic governance of political parties in Bangkok.

Research methodology is an integrated research method. The qualitative research collected data from 18 key informants or individuals using a structured in-depth interview form by way of in-depth interview analyze the data by describing and quantitative research collected data and questionnaires from a sample of 400 people. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and a Multiple regression analysis, stepwise analysis of multiple regression equations.

2.   Factors in the process of promoting political participation include educating the public, presenting policy issues, and supporting political opinions. 3.   Application of principles to ensure confidence in the democratic governance of political parties. (Respect for Elders) Give importance to voting activities. 5) Not raping and forcing women to rule. (Ignorance of authority)” 6) Worshiping, revering, worshiping all sacred places. (Love peace) Respect and accept political institutions and government agencies. Dharma protection, protection, and protection for monks. (Supporting good people) Protecting political parties that practice good conduct and act rightly.
