บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

ดุษฎีนิพนธ์นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทอง 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทอง 3) เพื่อนำเสนอพุทธธรรมประยุกต์เพื่อพัฒนาการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทอง รูปแบบการวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี โดยการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก กับผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 19 รูปหรือคน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเชิงพรรณนาและการสนทนากลุ่มเฉพาะจำนวน 8 รูปหรือคน การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณใช้แบบสอบถามที่มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับเท่ากับ 0.930 เก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทอง ที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 18 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 400 ตัวอย่าง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหาค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

              1. การมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทองการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทองมีการลงคะแนนเสียง การลงคะแนนเสียงในการเลือกตั้งเป็นวิธีที่สำคัญที่สุดในการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมือง การมีส่วนร่วมในการเสนอนโยบาย การชุมนุมและการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งขององค์กร การแสดงความคิดเห็น สามารถแสดงความคิดเห็นต่อนโยบายหรือประเด็นที่สำคัญโดยการเขียนจดหมายหากาศหรือโพสต์ในสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทองโดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า อยู่ในระดับมากทุกด้าน ซึ่งกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความคิดเห็นของประชาชนที่มีต่อระดับการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทอง เรียงลำดับค่าเฉลี่ยจากมากไป หาน้อย คือ ด้านการรับรู้ข่าวสารทางการเมือง ด้านการกล่อมเกลาทางการเมือง

2. ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทอง จากปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชน ทั้ง 4 ด้าน นำมาวิเคราะห์ทางสถิติ ตัวแปรที่มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับ การมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนมี 4 ด้าน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ ระดับ 0.01 ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ ระดับ 0.01 ได้แก่ ด้านความมีอิสระทางความคิด ด้านการตรวจสอบและวิพากษ์วิจารณ์การดำเนินงานของรัฐ ด้านการตื่นตัวทางการเมือง ด้านการสนับสนุนจากภาครัฐและฝ่ายการเมือง เป็นปัจจัยที่เป็นตัวกำหนด การมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดอ่างทอง
