บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

The objective of the study are 1) to study the problems of English speaking skills of the villagers in Shan State of Myanmar, 2) to find out the ways to improve English speaking skills for the villagers in Shan State of Myanmar. In this study, the researcher used both qualitative and quantitative methods. The collection of the data was based on the questionnaires, and it included with five participants from the villagers in Shan State of Myanmar.

The result of the findings were as follows:

Particularly noteworthy is the high number of 63 % of the villagers and the mean rate of 3.34 percent among all villagers. As previously shown, 3.56 percent of respondents reported being too shy to speak English. Next, 3.52% cannot communicate in English for an extended period. And I'm not sure what I mean by 3.51 percent.

The problems of English-speaking skills for the villagers in Shan State, Myanmar may include limited access to quality English education and resources, a lack of opportunities for English language practice, and the absence of English-speaking environments within their communities. The villagers in Shan State, Myanmar, possess unique features shaped by their cultural heritage and rural lifestyle.
