การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาการดำเนินชีวิตตามหลักเบญจธรรมของนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น ในโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่ง ในกรุงเทพมหานคร 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบการดำเนินชีวิตตามหลักเบญจธรรมของนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น ในโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่ง ในกรุงเทพมหานครตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลการวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ มีกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นในโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่ง ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 175 คน ใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือวิจัย ที่วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่และค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติเชิงอนุมาน โดยการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การดำเนินชีวิตตามหลักเบญจธรรมของนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น ในโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่ง ในกรุงเทพมหานครอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่า ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือ ด้านกามสังวร ค่าเฉลี่ยที่ 3.48 รองลงคือ ด้านสติสัมปชัญญะ ค่าเฉลี่ยที่ 33 ด้านสัจจะ ค่าเฉลี่ยที่ 3.32 ด้านเมตตากรุณา ค่าเฉลี่ยที่ 3.13 และ ด้านสัมมาอาชีวะ ค่าเฉลี่ยที่ 3.11

ผลการเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยรายคู่การดำเนินชีวิตตามหลักเบญจธรรมของนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นในโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร พบว่า การดำเนินชีวิตตามหลักเบญจธรรม ของนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นในโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร ที่มีเพศ อาชีพผู้ปกครอง และสภาพความเป็นอยู่ แตกต่างกัน มีการดำเนินชีวิตตามหลักเบญจธรรมไม่แตกต่างกัน เป็นการปฏิเสธสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้

The objectives of this research are 1) to study living life according to the five principles of middle school students. in one school in Bangkok 2) To compare living life according to the principles of the five principles of lower secondary school students. in one school in Bangkok according to personal factors. This research is a survey study. The sample consisted of middle school students in a school. In Bangkok, 175 people used questionnaires as a research tool.
