บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

             วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดเรื่องเพศทางเลือกในวิทยาการสมัยใหม่ 2) เพื่อศึกษาการบรรลุธรรมในพระไตรปิฏก 3) เพื่อวิเคราะห์เพศทางเลือกกับการบรรลุธรรมในพระไตรปิฎก งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ

               การศึกษาเพศทางเลือกในวิทยาการสมัยใหม่ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในวิทยาการสมัยใหม่ เพศทางเลือกคือกลุ่มบุคคลที่มีความหลากหลายในพฤติกรรมทางเพศและเพศสรีระ ในโลกยุคปัจจุบันนี้มีมา1) อาสิตตบัณเฑาะก์ 2) อุสูยบัณเฑาะก์ 3) โอปักกมิกบัณเฑาะก์ 4) ปักขบัณเฑาะก์ 5) นปุงสกบัณเฑาะก์ 

         การบรรลุธรรมในพระไตรปิฏก พบว่า การบรรลุธรรม หมายถึง การเข้าถึงมรรคผลนิพพาน เพศทางเลือกหมายถึงบัณเฑาะก์เรียกว่าอภัพพบุคคล แม้ว่าจะพยายามฝึกพัฒนาตนเองตามหลักไตรสิกขา ที่สุดแล้วก็ไม่สามารถที่จะบรรลุธรรมได้ เพราะว่าเป็นผู้ถือกำเนิดมาเป็นมนุษย์เพราะผลแห่งอกุศลกรรมปฏิสนธิที่ปราศจากอโมหะเหตุ คือผู้มีวิบากเป็นเครื่องกั้น แต่อย่างไรก็ตามก็ยังสามารถสั่งสมบุญเพื่อบรรลุธรรมในชาติภพต่อไป

           วิเคราะห์เพศทางเลือกกับการบรรลุธรรมในพระไตรปิฎก พบว่า ในพระพุทธศาสนาเรียกผู้บรรลุธรรมว่าอริยบุคคล ส่วนของเพศทางเลือกแม้จะบรรลุธรรมในชาตินี้ ยังไม่ได้ก็สามารถฝึกสั่งสมมีแนวทางการดำเนินชีวิตที่ยกระดับขึ้นมาได้ เพราะการฝึกปฏิบัติตนตามหลักไตรสิกขาเพื่อการบรรลุธรรมได้นั้นต้องมีความมั่นคงในพระรัตนตรัย ในศีล สมาธิและปัญญา

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

           This thesis has three objectives namely, 1) to study the concept of alternative genders in modern science 2) to study the enlightenment in the Tipiṭaka, and 3) to analyze alternative genders and the enlightenment in the Tipiṭaka. This research is qualitative research.

            Studying alternative gender in modern science found that in modern science Queer people are a group of people who are diverse in their sexual behavior and physiology. Now, there are as many as 20 genders, including Tom, D, Gay King, etc. As for alternative genders in the Tripitaka, Meaning “Bandha” can be divided into 5 types: 1) Asita Bandhaka 2) Usuiya Bandhaka 3) Opakkamika Bandhaka 4) Pakkha Bandhaka 5) Napungsaka Bandhaka

           The enlightenment in the Tipiṭaka found that in Tipitaka, enlightenment is the achievement of the Four Pathsthe, Four Fruitions, and the Unconditioned State. the alternative gender was the eunuch named Abhabba (unable person). Even though he has tried to develop himself according to the Threefold Traning, ultimately he could not attain enlightenment. Because the one who was born human results from unwholesome relinking without the cause that there is non-delusion. It was the one who had the result as prevented. However, he could still accumulate meritoriousness for attaining enlightenment in the next life.

           An analysis of alternative genders and enlightenment in the Tipiṭaka found that the attained one in Buddhism was called the Noble Person (Ariyapuggala). However, the alternative gender could not attain enlightenment in this life, he could be trained and accumulate the way of life.  Because practicing himself according to the Threefold Traning to attain enlightenment must be stable in the Triple Gem, morality, concentration, and wisdom.
