การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. ศึกษาระดับบทบาทนักการเมืองท้องถิ่นสำหรับการ พัฒนาชุมชนในเทศบาลตำบลจักราช จังหวัดนครราชสีมา 2. ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบทบาท นักการเมืองท้องถิ่นกับหลักพละ 4 สำหรับการพัฒนาชุมชนในเทศบาลตำบลจักราช จังหวัด นครราชสีมา 3. นำเสนอแนวทางการประยุกต์หลักพุทธธรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมบทบาทนักการเมืองท้องถิ่น สำหรับการพัฒนาชุมชนในเทศบาลตำบลจักราช จังหวัดนครราชสีมา การวิจัยเป็นแบบผสานวิธี โดย การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือ ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้ง ฉบับเท่ากับ 0.754 กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ประชาชนที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 18 ปีบริบูรณ์ ขึ้นไปในเทศบาลตำบล จักราช จังหวัดนครราชสีมา จำนวน 354 คน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่า ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทดสอบสมมติฐานโดยใช้สถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ แบบเพียร์สัน และระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth interview) กับ ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 9 รูปหรือคน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ระดับความคิดเห็นต่อบทบาทนักการเมืองท้องถิ่นสำหรับการพัฒนาชุมชนในเทศบาล ตำบลจักราช จังหวัดนครราชสีมา โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (x̅ = 4.13, S.D.=0.40) เมื่อ พิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด ได้แก่ ด้านบทบาทในอุดมคติ (x̅ = 4.16, S.D.= 0.45) รองลงมา ได้แก่ ด้านบทบาทที่บุคคลเข้าใจหรือรับรู้(x̅ = 4.12, S.D.=0.46) และด้านที่มี ค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด ได้แก่ ด้านบทบาทที่แสดงออกจริง (x̅ = 4.11, S.D.=0.47) ตามลำดับ 2. ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างหลักพละ 4 กับบทบาทนักการเมืองท้องถิ่นสำหรับการพัฒนา ชุมชนในเทศบาลตำบลจักราช จังหวัดนครราชสีมา โดยภาพรวม มีความสัมพันธ์กันอยู่ในระดับสูง (R= 0.778**) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 จึงยอมรับสมมติฐานการวิจัย 3. แนวทางการประยุกต์หลักพุทธธรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมบทบาทนักการเมืองท้องถิ่นสำหรับ การพัฒนาชุมชนในเทศบาลตำบลจักราช จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ตามหลักพละ 4 ได้แก่ 1) ปัญญาพละ ทำให้การพัฒนาชุมชนที่ดีขึ้นเมื่อมีปัญญาแล้วทำการสิ่งใดย่อมง่าย ใช้ปัญญาพิจารณาต่อสิ่งต่าง ๆ เพื่อพัฒนาชุมชนให้รุ่งเรืองเป็นสุข 2) วิริยพละ ความขยันเพียรพยายามที่จะทำหรือแก้ไขปัญหาให้ สำเร็จ ย่อมส่งผลให้องค์กรนั้นประสบความสำเร็จก้าวหน้าต่อไป 3) อนวัชชพละ การเป็นนักการเมือง ท้องถิ่นนั้นต้องเป็นผู้มีความสุจริตความซื่อสัตย์สุจริต มีความโปร่งใสในการบริหารงานให้เกิด ประสิทธิภาพที่ดีซื่อตรงต่อหน้าที่การงาน มีกระบวนการทำงานที่มีความมั่นคงมีแบบแผนการทำงาน เพื่อให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด และ 4) สังคหพละ นักการเมืองท้องถิ่นมีจิตช่วยเหลือผู้อื่น ทำสิ่งที่เป็น ประโยชน์ต่อประชาชนรู้จักแบ่งปันทั้งสิ่งของและน้ำใจแก่ประชาชน 

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

Objectives of this research were: 1 .To study the role of local politicians for community development at Chakkarat Sub-District Municipality of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, 2. To study the relationship between the role of local politicians and Bhala 4 for community development at Chakkarat Sub-District Municipality of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and 3. To propose guidelines for Buddha-Dhamma application for promoting the roles of local politicians in local development at Chakkarat Sub-District Municipality of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, The research was conducted by the mixed methods. The quantitative research used questionnaires with a total confidence value of 0.754. to collect data from 344 samples, the people 18 years old and over at Chakkarat Sub-District Municipality of Nakhon Ratchas i m a Province. The statistics used in the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested using Pearson correlation coefficient. The qualitative research, data were collected by in-depth interviewing 9 key informants, analyzed by content descriptive interpretation. Findings were as follows: 1. Level of opinions on the role of local politicians for community development at Chakkarat Sub-District Municipality of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, byoverall, was at a highlevel. (x̅= 4.13, S.D.=0.40) The aspect with the highest average was ideal role (x̅= 4.16, S.D.=0.45) followed by the role that a person understands or perceives (x̅= 4.12, S.D.=0.46) and the aspects with the least average was actual roles (x̅= 4.11, S.D.=0.47) respectively. 2. The relationship between Bhala 4 and the role of local politicians for community development at Chakkarat Sub-District Municipality, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, by overall, a high level of relationship. (R= 0.778**) with statistically significant level of 0.01 accepted the set hypothesis 3. Guidelines for Buddha-Dhamma application for promoting the role of local politicians in community development at Chakkarat Sub-District Municipality of Nakhon Ratchasima Province according to Bhala 4, namely, 1) Panyabhala, power of wisdom, community development was better undertaken, when one has wisdom can do anything easily to use wisdom to consider things to develop a prosperous community. 2) Viriyabhala, power of diligence, in trying to do or solve problems successfully will result in the organization succeeding and progressing. 3) Anavajjabhala, power of honesty, to be a local politician, one must be honest and fair, transparent in management to achieve good efficiency and be honest with one work, the stable work process and a work plan to achieve maximum efficiency. and 4) Sangahabhala, power of sharing; Local politicians have the spirit to help others, to do things that are beneficial to the people, to know how to share both things and kindness with the people.
