การวิจัยเรื่อง “รูปแบบการจัดการขยะตามหลักโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนบ้านวังธาร ตำบลลวงเหนือ อำเภอดอยสะเก็ด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่” มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาบริบทการจัดการขยะของชุมชนบ้านวังธาร 2) เพื่อพัฒนากิจกรรมการจัดการขยะตามหลักโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนบ้านวังธาร และ 3) เพื่อนำเสนอรูปแบบการจัดการขยะตามหลักโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนบ้านวังธาร รูปแบบการวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการโดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) เป็นการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและการสนทนากลุ่ม เพื่อหารูปแบบการจัดการขยะตามหลักโมเดล BCG โดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้างและแนวคำถามสำหรับการสนทนากลุ่ม โดยได้คัดเลือกผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญแบบเจอะจง จำนวน 25 คน ได้แก่ 1)กลุ่มผู้นำและกลุ่มชุมชนจำนวน 15 คน 2)กลุ่มภาครัฐ เอกชน พระภิกษุ ผู้ประกอบธุรกิจ และเยาวชน จำนวน 10 รูป/คน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา เพื่อหารูปแบบการจัดการขยะตามหลักโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG พื้นที่ในการศึกษาคือ ชุมชนบ้านวังธาร ตำบลลวงเหนือ อำเภอ ดอยสะเก็ด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1) การจัดการขยะของชุมชน เป็นการจัดการขยะที่มีการปรับเปลี่ยนตามสถานการณ์ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงตามบริบทของชุมชน ในอดีตการจัดการขยะของชุมชนมีการจัดการขยะตามวิถีชาวบ้านทั่วไป ปัจจุบันเทศบาลตำบลลวงเหนือได้ส่งเสริมการจัดการขยะในระดับครัวเรือน โดยให้มีการคัดแยกขยะเปียก ขยะรีไซเคิล และขยะอันตรายที่เป็นมลพิษ

2) การพัฒนากิจกรรมการจัดการขยะตามหลักโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน ประกอบด้วย ขั้นตอนที่ 1 ประชุมวิเคราะห์ปัญหาการจัดการขยะในชุมชน ขั้นตอนที่ 2 การสร้างจิตสำนึกโดยการเรียนรู้จากชุมชนต้นแบบ ขั้นตอนที่ 3 การปฏิบัติการพัฒนากิจกรรมการจัดการขยะตามหลักโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG ได้แก่  การทำปุ๋ยหมักชีวภาพ และ การทำกระถางต้นไม้จากขวดพลาสติก และกระเป๋าจากซองกาแฟ และกิจกรรมทำสบู่จากกากกาแฟ ขั้นตอนที่ 4 สรุปและประเมินผลจากกิจกรรม ขั้นตอนที่ 5 การขยายผลจากการจัดกิจกรรม

3) รูปแบบการจัดการขยะตามหลักโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน ได้แก่ การจัดการขยะโดยกระบวนการเรียนรู้และการสร้างจิตสำนึก การจัดการขยะจากกระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน และการจัดการขยะแบบวิถีชุมชนที่เข้ากับบริบทพื้นที่

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

The research titled "Waste Management Model based on the BCG Model with the Participation of Ban Wang Than Community, Luang Nuea Subdistrict, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province" involved with three objectives: 1) to examine the context of waste management in Ban Wang Than community, 2) to develop waste management activities based on the BCG model with the participation of Ban Wang Than community, and 3) to present a waste management model based on the BCG model with the participation of Ban Wang Than community. This research is an action research study that utilizes qualitative research methods, including in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, to develop a waste management model based on the BCG model. Semi-structured interview and focus group discussion guides were used. The study selected 25 key informants using purposive sampling, consisting of 1) 15 community leaders and members and 2) 10 government officials, private sector representatives, monks, business owners, and youth. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis to identify a waste management model based on the BCG model. The study area is Ban Wang Than community, Luang Nuea Subdistrict, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province.

Its results were shown that :

1) Community waste management was altered and adjusted to changing situations of community contexts. In the past times, people in the community got used to treatment according to their typically local way of life. At present, Laung Nue Subdistrict Municipality has introduced and promoted household waste management by waste separation/sorting into 3 categories: wet, recycled, and hazardous.

2) Development of waste management activities based on the BCG Economic Model with community participation is consisted of: Stage 1: Meeting for problem analysis for community waste management; Stage 2: Awareness cultivation by learning from model communities; Stage 3: Practice for development of waste management activities based on the BCG Economic Model, for instance, bio-compost, plant pots made from plastic bottles, bags made from coffee sachets, and soap making from coffee grounds; Stage 4: Activities conclusion and evaluation; and Stage 5: Result extension of activities.

3) The patterns of waste management based on the BCG Economic Model can be summarized as waste management through learning process and awareness cultivation, waste management by participation process of community, and waste management according to typical local way of life suitable for the contexts of the area.
