บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

          วิทยานิพนธ์นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทของผู้สูงอายุในการพัฒนาชุมชนในตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอหัวไทร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช 2) เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบบทบาทของผู้สูงอายุในการพัฒนาชุมชนในตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอหัวไทร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ที่มี เพศ อายุ อาชีพ ระดับการศึกษา และรายได้ ที่ต่างกัน และ 3) เพื่อศึกษาข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับแนวทางส่งเสริมบทบาทการพัฒนาชุมชนของผู้สูงอายุในตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอหัวไทร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantiotative Research) ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอหัวไทร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช จำนวน 3,331 คน กำหนดกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยการเปิดตารางกำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างของเคร็ชซี่ และมอร์แกน (Krejcie and Morgan) ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 341 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม โดยมีค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.941 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าทดสอบค่าที (t – test) ค่าทดสอบค่าเอฟ (F-test) และทดสอบความแปรปรวนทางเดียว ถ้าพบความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ จะทดสอบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยเป็นรายคู่ ด้วยวิธีของเชฟเฟ่                                      

            ผลการวิจัยพบว่า                                                                                            

    1. บทบาทของผู้สูงอายุในการพัฒนาชุมชนในตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอหัวไทร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช โดยรวม อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ( x̅ = 3.39) เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า ด้านศาสนาและวัฒนธรรมประเพณี มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากสุด ( x̅ = 3.57) รองลงมา ได้แก่ ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม มีค่าเฉลี่ย ( x̅ = 3.41) และด้านเศรษฐกิจ มีค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยสุด (x̅ = 3.29) เมื่อจำแนกตามเพศ อายุ อาชีพ ระดับการศึกษา และรายได้ พบว่า โดยรวม อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง                                

         2. ผลการเปรียบเทียบบทบาทของผู้สูงอายุในการพัฒนาชุมชนในตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอ  หัวไทร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ที่มีเพศ อายุ อาชีพ ระดับการศึกษา และรายได้ ต่างกัน พบว่า บทบาทของผู้สูงอายุในการพัฒนาชุมชนในตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอหัวไทร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช โดยรวม ไม่แตกต่างกัน ซึ่งไม่เป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้                                                 

            3. ข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับแนวทางส่งเสริมบทบาทของผู้สูงอายุในการพัฒนาชุมชนในตำบลทรายขาว อำเภอหัวไทร จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช พบว่า ผู้สูงอายุได้เสนอแนะ บทบาทด้านเศรษฐกิจ ได้แก่ การสนับสนุนการพัฒนาอาชีพให้กับผู้สูงอายุ ด้านสังคม ได้แก่ ควรให้มีการจัดตั้งกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุทุกหมู่บ้าน การให้ความรู้เรื่องสุขภาพอนามัย ด้านการศึกษา ได้แก่ ควรสนับสนุนให้ความร่วมมือจัดตั้งกองทุนเพื่อการศึกษาให้กับบุตรหลาน เด็กและเยาวชนในชุมชน ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมให้ผู้สูงอายุเป็นผู้นำในการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม รู้จักประหยัดทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ด้านศาสนาและวัฒนธรรมประเพณี ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมรักษาวัฒนธรรมประเพณีของท้องถิ่น ช่วยกันปลูกสร้างจิตสำนึกให้คนในชุมชนรักษาศาสนา และทำนุบำรุง            

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

                 The objectives were as follows: 1)  to study  on the role of elderly in community development in Saikhaw Sub-district, Huaisai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, 2) to compare on  the role of elderly in community development in Saikhaw sub-district, Huasai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat province in terms of sexes, ages, occupations, degrees of  education and monthly  incomes as differently, and 3) to study on  suggestions for guideline in promotion on the role of  elderly in community development in Saikhaw sub-district, Huasai  District, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province. This is the survey research. The population were composed of elderly who live in Saikhaw Sub-district for 3,331 persons. The Sample were about 341 persons. With krejcie and Morgan’s table measurement.systematic random sampling was used, the instrument for data collection was questionnaire, the reliability at 0.941. The statistics were applied as follows; frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation,   t-test, f-test and to test the difference mean in each pair by Scheffe’s method.

             The findings were as follows:

1.        The role of the elderly in community development in SaiKhaw sub-district , HuaSai district, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province by overview was at moderate level  (x̅   =3.39) when considered in each domain found that the domain of religion,culture and tradition was the highest mean (x̅ =3.57) and followed up the domain  of environment (x̅  =3.41) and the domain of economic was the lowest mean (x̅  =3.29) when classified in terms of sexes,ages,occapations, degrees of education and monthly income found that  by overview was at moderate level.

2.         The comparative result on the role of  elderly in community development in Saikhaw sub-district, HuaSai district, Nakhon Si Thammarat  province in terms of sexes, ages, occupations, degrees of education and monthly income found that  by overview there were not different which are not accordance with  hypothesis.

3.        The suggestion on the guideline to promotion the role of elderly in community development in Saikhaw Sub-district, Huasai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat province found that economic domain to support of carreer development of elders social domain there should set elder group in all villages and to aware of health , educational  domain , there should support for educational fund to the youth in community , environment domain, to promote on elders for  environment preservation and save for natural resources, religion culture and tradition domain : to promote of culture and tradition in local and to make consciousness people in  community for looking after the religion.
