การวิจัยเรื่อง “การปรับตัวข้ามวัฒนธรรมของพระสงฆ์ในอาเซียนที่มาศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย” เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Quantitative research) โดยใช้วิธีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลต่าง ๆ และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรม และกระบวนการจัดการการสื่อสารทางด้านภาษาอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและเกิดคุณภาพกับงานวิจัย โดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์ (In-depth interview) กับผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ (Key informants) มีจำนวน 25 รูป/คน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ ได้แก่ 1) เพื่อศึกษาการปรับตัวในการเรียนรู้ข้ามวัฒนธรรมของพระสงฆ์ในอาเซียนที่มาศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่เกิดขึ้นในการปรับตัวข้ามวัฒนธรรมของพระสงฆ์ในอาเซียนที่มาศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย 3) เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการปรับตัวข้ามวัฒนธรรมของพระสงฆ์ในอาเซียนที่มาศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้เพื่อศึกษาเรื่อง การปรับตัวเข้าวัฒนธรรมของพระมีสิตชาวต่างชาติที่มาศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยเฉพาะการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มพระนิสิตชาวต่างชาติ เพื่อเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลภาคสนามจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ก็คือในเรื่องของการปรับตัวข้ามวัฒนธรรม ณ วันที่เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากพระนิสิต จำนวน 25 รูป ที่ได้จากการสัมภาษณ์ โดยเน้นไปในเรื่องของการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกของผู้ให้สัมภาษณ์ คือ พระนิสิตชาวต่างชาติที่มาศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การปรับตัวข้ามวัฒนธรรมของพระนิสิตชาวต่างชาติที่เข้ามาศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย ส่วนมากมาจากหลายประเทศทุกทั่วมุมโลก โดยเฉพาะพระนิสิตที่อยู่แถบอาเซียนเข้ามาศึกษาต่อที่มหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าความแตกต่างทางด้านวัฒนธรรม และการประพฤติปฏิบัติในการใช้ชีวิตหรือการดำรงตนในทางพระพุทธศาสนา การแต่งกาย การใช้ภาษา ความแตกต่างทางด้านวัฒนธรรม สำหรับพระนิสิตชาวต่างชาติส่วนมากก็จะมาอาศัยอยู่ที่รั้วมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อเข้ารับการศึกษาและการปรับตัวเพื่อให้เกิดการยอมรับ และการกล้าแสดงออกโดยการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ที่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยได้จัดเตรียมไว้ โดยภาพรวมแล้วพระนิสิตยังยึดถือหลักปฏิบัติตามวัฒนธรรมของตนเอง รวมไปถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลง ซึ่งการพัฒนาตนและการอยู่ร่วมกันด้วยความสามัคคี เพื่อให้เกิดการยอมรับในความแตกต่างวัฒนธรรม

             ส่วนข้อเสนอแนะ ได้แก่

             1. ข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบาย จากการวิจัย พบว่า การปรับตัวข้ามวัฒนธรรมของพระนิสิตชาวต่างชาติที่มาศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย ส่วนมากในเรื่องของการสื่อสารการใช้ภาษา และเพื่อให้นิสิตได้รับโอกาสที่จะพัฒนาตนเอง กล้าแสดงออกในเซิงศักยภาพ

             2. ข้อเสนอแนะเชิงปฏิบัติการ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ส่วนมากพระนิสิตต้องเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง มหาวิทยาลัยควรส่งเสริมพระนิสิตชาวต่างชาติเรียนรู้ในระบบหลักสูตรต่าง ๆ แม้กระทั่งการจัดกิจกรรม และการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมหรือพิธีกรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา

             3. ข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อการวิจัยครั้งต่อไป ผลการวิจัย พบว่า เพื่อให้นิสิตได้รับการพัฒนาตนเองในการเรียนรู้องค์ความรู้เพื่อให้เกิดประสบการณ์ในการเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ ๆ ซึ่งทางมหาวิทยาลัยเองจะต้องมีการกำหนดระบบหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอน โดยจัดทำให้มีการจัดกิจกรรมบ่อย ๆ เพื่อให้นิสิตได้มีโอกาสเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมให้เขาได้เรียนรู้ความแตกต่างทางด้านวัฒนธรรม

         Research subject “The cross-cultural Adjustment of Buddhist Monks in Asean at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University” is a qualitative research. (Quantitative research) using data collection methods and data analysis with the objective of studying cultural adaptation patterns and the process for managing language communication efficiently and resulting in quality research by using an in-depth interview with 25 key informants / persons with the objectives 1) To study the adaptation of cross-cultural learning among monks in ASEAN who come to study at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University 2) To study the problems and obstacles occurring in cross cultural adjustment of the monks in ASEAN who study at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University 3) To present the guidelines for 
 cross-cultural adjustment of the monks in ASEAN who study at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University

                      This research is to study the subject Adaptation to the culture of student monks foreigners studying at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University Using research methods Qualitative research Especially the data collection from foreign monk group to be a tool for collecting field data from important data providers Is the issue of cross-cultural adjustment as of the date of collecting data from 25 monks from interviews by focusing on the in-depth interviews of the interviewees, namely foreign monks

                   The findings of this research were concluded as follow: the results of the research showed that the cross-cultural adjustment of foreign students who come to study at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University most come from many countries all over the world. especially monks from ASEAN who come to study at the university of course, cultural differences And behavior in living or living in Buddhism, dressing, using language, cultural differences for most foreign monks, they will live at the university fence for admission and adaptation to achieve acceptance and the courage to show off by participating in various activities that the university has prepared In general, the students still adhere to their own culture. Including changes which the development and coexistence in harmony to achieve acceptance in cultural differences

             The suggestions from this study revealed that:

             1. Policy recommendations: from the research, it was found that the cross-cultural adaptation of foreign monks studying at (MCU) Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University most of the matter in communication, language usage and to give students the opportunity to develop themselves Dare to show off in the potential

             2. Action Recommendations the results of the study show that most of the monks have to learn by themselves the university should promote foreign monks to learn in various curriculum systems, even organizing activities and participation in activities or rituals of Buddhism

             3. Suggestions for future researches the results of the study show that in order for the students to develop themselves in the learning of knowledge in order to gain experience in learning new things, the university itself must have set up a curriculum for teaching and learning by providing activities frequently so students have the opportunity to participate in activities so they can learn about cultural differences
