บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

           วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง “รูปแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุเชิงพุทธของโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูน” มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการ ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคของการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูน 2) เพื่อศึกษาแนวคำสอนในทางพุทธศาสนาในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูน 3) เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูน โดยการใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เป็นการสัมภาษณ์ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 15 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ การสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญและดำเนินการเก็บข้อมูลพร้อมทั้งวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับความหมายของการดูแลผู้สูงอายุเพื่อให้ทราบถึงชุดความรู้ วิธีการ ขั้นตอน กระบวนการจัดตั้งโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุของโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูน เพื่อนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในระดับชุมชนและองค์การท้องถิ่น

          ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

          1. ปัญหาอุปสรรคของการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูน มีอยู่ 6 อย่างคือ 1) ปัญหาด้านการบริหารจัดการสวัสดิการในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 2) ปัญหาการขาดแคลนการจัดการสวัสดิการในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 3) ปัญหาข้อจำกัดในด้านบุคลากร 4) ปัญหาการขาดข้อมูลอย่างบูรณาการ 5) ปัญหาการขาดแคลนพาหนะในการเดินทาง 6) ปัญหาการขาดอุปกรณ์เสริมในการดูแล

          2. ในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุให้บรรลุวัตถุประสงค์ต้องใช้หลักพุทธธรรมมาเป็นแนวทางในการปฏิบัติในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ โดยใช้หลักธรรมสังคหวัตถุ 4 และภาวนา 4 นำมาปฏิบัติในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ

           3.รูปแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุของโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูน มีอยู่ 2 รูปแบบ คือ 1) รูปแบบการสังคมสงเคราะห์ในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ เป็นการบูรณาการรวมกันในการช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุ การสร้างอาชีพ เช่น การทำโคมไฟล้านนา การทำกรวยดอกไม้ใบตองและการสร้างคุณภาพชีวิตผ่านกิจกรรมอาสาปันสุข และกิจกรรมเพื่อนเยี่ยมเพื่อน 2) รูปแบบในการพัฒนาสวัสดิการการดูแลด้านสุขภาวะอันได้แก่ ทางกาย ทางจิตใจ ทางสังคม ทางปัญญา และการพัฒนาการดูแลผู้สูงอายุด้านการเผยแผ่ธรรมะ เช่น การทำกิจกรรมธรรมสัญจรและวันสำคัญในทางพระพุทธศาสนา

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

          The Research entitled : A Buddhist Model in taking care of Elderly School in Muang District Lamphun Province.  The purposes of this study are 1) to study the problems and obstacles of taking care of Elderly School in Muang District Lamphun province 2) to study the dhamma principles of taking care of elderly School in Muang District Lamphun Province.  3) to study the pattern of taking care of elderly School in Muang District Lamphun Province.  This Thesis is a qualitative research using a related evidence from the book, thesis report and include interviews with 15 keys informants

          The tools used in the Thesis were interviews with important keys informants,  collecting data and analyzing information about concepts definition of taking care for the elderly, elderly school and social networks of elderly to study the idea and pattern to take care elderly of elderly school and to see the knowledge set, methods processes and the taking care of elderly school in Muang District Lamphun Province. The findings can be applied at the community level and local organization.

          The research found :

          1) The problem of taking care elderly of elderly schools in Muang District Lamphun Province is that there are six types are 1) The issue of management welfare of the elderly. 2) The problem of the budget in the management of taking care elderly. 3) The limitation of personnel. 4) The issue of integrated data. 5) The problem of the fact of the vehicle for traveling. 6) The problem of enhancing the tool.

          2) To achieve the purpose of caring eldering, the dhamma principle ; (Sanghavatthu 4 and Bhavana 4) must applied as the mode of caring.

           3) Pattern of taking care elderly school in Muang District Lamphun Province, there are 2 patterns which care are 1) the pattern of social work is a mutual integration in helping the elderly of elderly school by educating through the process of elderly school, career institute such as making a Lanna Lamp, making flower cone from banana leaf and creating a quality of life through volunteer  activities and friends visiting activities 2) the pattern of welfare development in taking care elderly, found that there are 2 types of welfare development on health, including physical, mental social and intellectual.  And welfare development by propagating Dharma such as Dharma roaming and making merit on important days in Buddhism.
