บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

          การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาหลักมุทิตาในพระพุทธศาสนา 2) เพื่อศึกษาหลักการพัฒนามุทิตาในพระพุทธศาสนา และ 3) เพื่อวิเคราะห์วิธีการประยุกต์ใช้หลักการมุทิตาในพระพุทธศาสนา เป็นการวิจัยเชิงเอกสาร (Documentary Research)

          ผลการศึกษาพบว่า หลักมุทิตาในพระพุทธศาสนา พบว่า มุทิตา หมายถึง ความเบิกบานพลอยยินดี เมื่อผู้อื่นได้ดีหรือได้รับความสำเร็จ มีความสุข ความเจริญก้าวหน้า มุทิตาจึงเป็นคุณธรรมที่สามารถกำจัดความอิจฉาริษยาได้และบุคคลที่มีมุทิตาจะมีความสุขใจ หน้าตาสดชื่น แจ่มใส เป็นที่รักของคนทั่วไป หลักมุทิตาเป็นส่วนประกอบหนึ่งในหลักพรหมวิหาร ซึ่งสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้กับการบริหารงานของผู้บริหาร

          หลักการพัฒนามุทิตาในพระพุทธศาสนา พบว่า ต้องพัฒนาจากจิตใจก่อน เมื่อจิตใจเกิดมุทิตาแล้วก็จะแสดงต่อด้วยการกระทำหรือด้วยคำพูด ผู้ที่ทำให้จิตเกิดมุทิตาได้จึงเป็นบุคคลพิเศษที่ยกระดับจิตใจให้สูงกว่าคนธรรมดาสามัญ การพัฒนามุทิตาด้วยการฝึกสมาธิจึงเป็นการพัฒนาเพื่อให้จิตดีงาม เพราะจิตที่ฝึกดีแล้วจะเป็นฐานที่ก่อเกิดปัญญา รู้เท่าทันต่อความโลภและความริษยาที่จะเกิดขึ้นในใจ เพราะเมื่อใดที่ความโลภริษยาเกิดขึ้นแล้ว ความพลอยยินดีหรือมุทิตาก็จะดับสูญสิ้นไป ไม่สามารถที่จะเกิดมุทิตาต่อผู้อื่นได้อย่างบริสุทธิ์ ดังนั้น การพัฒนามุทิตาด้วยหลักสมาธิ จึงเป็นการฝึกจิตให้สงบ ฝึกให้จิตดี เกิดปัญญา คิดดี ทำดี แล้วจะเกิดมุทิตาต่อผู้อื่นด้วยความบริสุทธิ์ใจ 

          วิเคราะห์วิธีการประยุกต์ใช้หลักการมุทิตาในพระพุทธศาสนา พบว่า มีวิธีการประยุกต์ใช้ในหลากหลายโอกาสและเหตุการณ์ ดังที่พระพุทธเจ้าทรงใช้หลักมุทิตากับพระภิกษุผู้เผยแผ่ศาสนา ทั้งนี้ ปัจจุบันมีวิธีการประยุกต์ใช้แนวทางมุทิตากับการดำเนินชีวิตประจำวัน กับการบริหารงานกับการเฉลิมฉลอง กับการต้อนรับแขกบ้านแขกเมือง และกับการเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ เป็นต้น

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

          The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to study the principle of Muditā in Buddhism, 2) to study the development principle of Muditā in Buddhism,3) to analyze the application method according to the principle of Muditā in Buddhism. This study is a documentary research. by collecting data from document. 

          The findings of this research were as follows: The principle of Muditā in Budhism found that Muditā means enjoyment  when others have good things or have been successful, happiness and progress. Muditā is virture that can get rid of jealousy and a person who has Muditā that will be happy, fresh and clear and be loved by common people. The principle of Muditā is one of the components of the principle of Brahmavihãrã which can be applied to the administration of executives.

          The development principles of Muditā in Budhism found that must develop of the mind first when the mind had Muditā, it is expressed by actions or words. The one who can make the mind by having Muditā that one is a special person who promotes higher level of the mind than common people. The development of Muditā through practicing concentration it will be developed for a good mind. Because a well-trained mind is the base of wisdom, aware of the greed and jealousy that will arise in the heart when greed and jealousy arise, enjoyment or Muditā will disappearor and not be able to have the enjoyment to others purely.Thus, the development of Muditā with concentration that is to train the mind to be calm, to train the good mind, to have wisdom, good thinking, to do good, and then to have enjoyment to others.

          To analyze how to apply the principle of Muditā in Buddhism found that  the application methods of Muditā in Buddhism found that there are methods that can be applied in various occasions and events. As the Buddha applied the principle of Muditā with Buddhit monks and missionarie so that , nowdays, there is a way to apply to Muditā  and daily life with administration, celebration, welcoming guests and getting a new promotion etc.
