บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

          การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ (1) เพื่อศึกษาหลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงที่ปรากฎในคัมภีร์ทางพระพุทธศาสนา (2) เพื่อศึกษาวิถีการประยุกต์ใช้หลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในสังคมไทยและ (3) เพื่อวิเคราะห์หลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในการดำเนินชีวิตของชุมชนในเขตตำบลในเมือง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำพูน เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยการค้นคว้าข้อมูลจากเอกสาร และการเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนาม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

          หลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงที่ปรากฏในคัมภีร์ทางพระพุทธศาสนา กล่าวถึงความสุขความเจริญแห่งชีวิตและสังคม มีปรากฏในพระไตรปิฎกคือการปฏิบัติตามหลักทิฎฐธัมมิกัตถสังวัตตนิกธรรม  หลักโภควิภาคธรรม  ในการใช้จ่ายแบ่งทรัพย์ หลักสันโดษ การมีภูมิคุ้นกันตัวเองที่ดีเป็นไปตามหลักการพึ่งตนเอง หลักในกุลจิรัฏฐิติธรรม และหลักสัปปุริสธรรม

          หลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในสังคมไทย เกิดขึ้นโดยพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพล อดุลยเดชฯ บรมนาถบพิตร รัชการที่ 9 ทรงดำริขึ้น มีองค์ประกอบอยู่ 5 ส่วน เรียกว่า สามห่วงสองเงื่อนไข การประยุกต์ใช้ให้ได้ผลในการดำเนินชีวิต เริ่มจากความรู้ความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้อง มีเหตุและผล  เป็นคนใฝ่รู้ รู้จักตนเอง เสียสละเพื่อส่วนรวม มองการณ์ไกลไม่ประมาทและมีศีลธรรม 

          จากการศึกษาหลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในการดำเนินชีวิตของชุมชนตำบลในเมือง พบว่า การนำหลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการดำเนินชีวิตใช้การพิจารณาจากความสามารถในการพึ่งตนเองเป็นหลัก ที่เน้นความสมดุล คือพอประมาณ มีเหตุมีผล และมีภูมิคุ้มกัน มาประกอบการตัดสินใจ ในเรื่องต่างๆ เป็นขั้นเป็นตอน มีจิตใจเข้มแข็ง ฝึกตนเองได้ มีจิตสำนึกที่ดี การปรับตัวมีความสามารถที่จะเผชิญและยอมรับ ความจริงของชีวิต พัฒนาตนเองให้มีการเรียนรู้ต่อเนื่อง
สร้างวินัยกับตนเอง จดบันทึกและทำบัญชีรับ-จ่าย ทำมาหากินด้วยความซื่อสัตย์สุจริต และไม่เบียดเบียนผู้อื่น มีการสืบทอดวิถีชีวิตดั้งเดิม ดำรงชีวิตอยู่ร่วมกันและมีความเกี่ยวข้องสัมพันธ์กันเกิดการพึ่งพาอาศัยซึ่งกันและกันช่วยเหลือเกื้อกูลกันเห็นได้ผ่านกิจกรรมของชุมชน

          ผลที่ได้จากการประยุกต์ใช้ชุมชน คำนึงประโยชน์ส่วนตนและส่วนรวม มีการช่วยเหลือเกื้อกูลกัน มีการใช้และจัดการทรัพยากรร่วมกัน  ชุมชนให้ความสำคัญกับหลักการประหยัด ตัดทอนค่าใช้จ่ายที่ไม่จำเป็น ครัวเรือนทำสวนครัว ปลอดอบายมุข ประพฤติตนอยู่ในศีล 5  และนำเอาหลักพุทธธรรมมาใช้ในการดำเนินชีวิตจนประสบความสุขตามอัตภาพ

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

          This study entitled “A Study of Sufficienct Economy Principles in the Life of the Community in NaiMueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lamphun Province” aims to (1) to study the principle of sufficiency economy which founded in the Buddhist scriptures, (2) to study the way of applying the principle of sufficiency economy in Thai society, and (3) to analyze the principle of sufficiency economy for the conducting of life in the community of Nai-Muang, Muang, Lamphun.  This study employs a qualitative research by collecting the data from documents and field survey. 
The results of study were found that:

          The principle of sufficiency economy which was founded in the Buddhist scriptures, has specified about happiness and prosperity of life and social.  This has appeared in Ananya Sutra, compliance with the principle of Ditthadhammikattha, the Four fold division of consumption, the Solitude,  the Kuljiratthititham, and the Suppuris dhrama.

          The principle of sufficiency economy in Thai society, was created by Phrabat Somdet Phra Paraminthra Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX).  This principle has five parts of elements, three rings and two conditions.  Applying for conducting of life starts from have the accurate knowledge and understanding,  reasonable, knowledge seeking, knowing yourself, sacrifices, foresight, precaution, and morality.

          The result of study the principle of sufficiency economy for conducting of life in community of Nai-Muang shows that applying this principle consider from the ability in self-reliance and focus on equilibrium, modesty, reasonable, and defense.  The people in community use these things in decision by step.  They have strong mind, practice, conscious, adaptation to ability for confronting and accepting the truth of life, develop and learning continuous, discipline, recording income and expenditure, honesty, not persecuting others.  They have inherited the traditional way of life, living together, relating and supporting to each other.  This can be seen through activities of the community.

          Moreover, Utilizing the principle of sufficiency economy enhances the community to protect the collective interest, help each other, manage resources, focus the concept of economy, reduce unnecessary expense, clear of allurements which lead to ruin, observe the five percepts, apply the Buddhist principle for conducting of life and be happiness life, eventually.
