บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

การวิจัยเรื่อง “การศึกษาคุณลักษณะของชาวพุทธผู้ถึงพระรัตนตรัย” มีวัตถุประสงค์คือ 1. เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะของพระรัตนตรัย 2. เพื่อศึกษาวิธีการเข้าถึงพระรัตนตรัย 3. เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะของชาวพุทธผู้ถึงพระรัตนตรัย ศึกษาข้อมูลปฐมภูมิจากพระไตรปิฎก ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากเอกสาร หนังสือ ตำรา สื่อออนไลน์ เป็นการศึกษาเชิงเอกสาร วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงพรรณนา

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

คุณลักษณะของพระรัตนตรัย คือคุณลักษณะของพระพุทธเจ้า 9 ประการ มีอรหัง สัมมาสัมพุทโธ เป็นต้น คุณลักษณะพระธรรม 6 ประการ มีสันทิฏฐิโก อกาลิโก เป็นต้น และพระสงฆ์ 9 ประการ มีอาหุเนโย ปาหุเนยโย เป็นต้น พระรัตนตรัยเกิดจากการตรัสรู้ของพระพุทธเจ้า
มีคุณค่าสูงสุดโดยถือเป็นแหล่งปัญญาแก้ปัญหาจนพ้นทุกข์ได้ การนับถือพระรัตนตรัยไว้ด้วยศรัทธา ดำรงตนตามอุบาสกธรรม 5 และ 7 ประการ กล่าวคำขอไตรสรณคมน์ว่า พุทธัง ธัมมัง สังฆัง สรณัง
คัจฉามิ รัตนะละ 3 รอบ เป็น 9 ครั้ง

การเข้าถึงพระรัตนตรัยนั้น สามารถเข้าถึงได้ด้วยศรัทธาเป็นเบื้องต้นตามจริตของผู้นั้นมีลักษณะวิธีการเข้าถึง 4 แบบคือ (1) การมอบตน (2) การมีพระรัตนตรัยเป็นเครื่องนำทาง (3) การยอมเป็นศิษย์ (4) การประนมมือทำความเคารพ  มีแหล่งศรัทธาต่อพระรัตนตรัย 4 จำพวก คือ
(1) รูปัปปมาณิกา ถือรูปลักษณ์เป็นเกณฑ์ (2) โฆสัปปมาณิกา ถือเสียงเป็นเกณฑ์ (3) ลูขัปปมาณิกาถือความบอน ๆ เป็นเกณฑ์ (4) ธัมมัปปมาณิกา ถือธรรมเป็นเกณฑ์  พระรัตนตรัยนี้มีอานุภาพทำให้บุคคลใดเข้าถึงนั้นพ้นทุกข์ ทำให้แคล้วคลาดจากภัยอันตราย หวาดกลัว ขนพองสยองเกล้า ประสบแต่ความสุข นำพาให้เกิดในสุคติภพ มีอานิสงส์ในการเข้าพระรัตนตรัย คือ (1) ความไพบูลย์ด้วยศรัทธา (2) ความไพบูลย์ด้วยสติ (๓) ความไพบูลย์ด้วยปัญญา (๔) ความไพบูลย์ด้วยบุญ

ชาวพุทธตัวอย่างที่ถึงพระรัตนตรัย ได้แก่ พระเจ้าพิมพิสาร ผู้ถวายพระวิหารเวฬุวันแด่พระพุทธเจ้า อนาถบิณฑิกเศรษฐี ผู้ถวายพระวิหารเชตวัน นางวิสาขามหาอุบาสิกา ผู้ถวายพระวิหารปุพพาราม นายอิสิทัตตะ ผู้ชื่นชมยินดีในธรรม 4 ประการ คือ (1) มีความเลื่อมใสอันไม่หวั่นไหวในพระพุทธเจ้า (2) มีความเลื่อมใสอันไม่หวั่นไหวในพระธรรม (3) มีความเลื่อมใสอันไม่หวั่นไหวในพระสงฆ์ (4) มีใจปราศจากความตระหนี่อันเป็นมลทิน มีศรัทธาเชื่อมั่นในอานุภาพของพระรัตนตรัยทำให้เข้าถึงสวรรค์ นิพพาน ผู้ปฏิบัติตนถูกต้องต่อพระรัตนตรัยด้วยการรักษาศีล ศรัทธา
มีคุณลักษณะของผู้ถึงพระรัตนตรัย คือ (1) มีทาน (2) การสงเคราะห์ (3) มีความเลื่อมใส (4) เข้าใจธรรมลึกซึ้ง

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

The title of research study is “A Study of The Characteristics of Buddhists going to the Triple Gem.” There are 3 objectives: 1) to study quality of the Triple Gem 2) to study how to go to the Triple Gem and 3) to study quality of Buddhists going to the Triple Gem. This is a type of quantitative research which focuses on the data collected from the Theravada Buddhist scriptures: Tripitaka, Pali Canon, Sub-Commentaries, and other related technical papers rewritten in descriptive.

The result of research found that:-

1) The quality of the Triple Gem is the quality of the Buddha worthy (Arahaṁ), fully self-enlightened (Sammāsumbuddho) etc., the quality of the Dhamma to be seen for oneself (Santiḍḍhiko), not delayed (akāliko) etc., the quality of Sangha worthy of gifts (Āhuneyyo), worthy of hospitality (Pāhuneyyo) etc. the Triple Gem comes from the Buddha’s enlightenment. The Triple Gem is the highest value as to be the intellectual source for solution until salvation. The Triple Gem is regarded by faith, to be Upasakadhamma 5 and 7. To say for taking the Triple Gem in words may I take the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha  as refuge in 3 rounds and in total of 9 times.

2) How to go by the rules of the Triple Gem is be able to go by basic faith according to behavior of the Buddhists. The 4 aspects of going by the Triple Gem are (1) consent of oneself to the Triple Gem, (2) to regard the Triple Gem as guideline, (3) to consent to be student to the Triple Gem, (4) to take one’s hands to bow the Triple Gem. There are 4 kinds of faith source as those who measure or take standard ;- (1) one who measures by form (Rūpa-pamānikā), (2) one who measure by voice or reputation (Ghosa-pamānikā), (3) one who measures or judges by shabbiness (Lūkha-pamānikā), (4) one who measures or judge by the teaching or righteous behavior (Dhamma-pamānika). The Triple Gem is high power for salvation, free from dangers, from fearing, happier and to go to heaven. The benefits of the Triple Gem are (1) perfection in faith, (2) perfection in mindfulness, (3) perfection in wisdom and (4) perfection in merit.

3)The example of Buddhists who go to the Triple Gem are;- King Bimpisāra who offers Veruvan Vihāra to the Buddha, Anāthapiṇḍhikasetthī who offers Jetavan Vihāra, Mrs. Visākhā who offers Pubbārām, Mr. Isitatta who enjoys 4 Dhammas (1) stable faithfulness to the Buddha, (2) stable faithfulness to Dhamma (3) stable faithfulness to Sangha, (4) to be free from greediness, credit in the power of the Triple Gem and then going to heaven until Nibbāna. To practice oneself to the Triple Gem is made by preservation of Sīla, to take faith in Buddhism. To have the aspect of who respect to the Triple Gem; - (1) charity, (2) welfare, (3) faithfulness to the Triple Gem (4) deep understanding of Dhamma
