บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการ คือ (1) เพื่อศึกษาความบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระครรภ์ ของพระนางสิริมหามายา (2) เพื่อศึกษาความบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระครรภ์ของพระนางมารีย์ (3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระครรภ์ของพระนางสิริมหามายากับพระนางมารีย์ โดยศึกษาค้นคว้าในเชิงเอกสารจากนั้นนำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์ เปรียบเทียบให้เห็นความเหมือนและความแตกต่าง ซึ่งผลการวิจัยพบว่า

ความบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระครรภ์ของพระนางสิริมหามายา เกิดขึ้นมาจากการถือศีลพรหมจรรย์ ซึ่งถือเป็นความบริสุทธิ์ในด้านการรักษาจิตใจและความประพฤติทางกาย คือการละเว้นการมีเพศสัมพันธ์กับชายใดหรือสามีของตน พระครรภ์ถือกำเนิดขึ้นในช่วงการรักษาศีลบริสุทธิ์หรือศีลพรหมจรรย์ พระโพธิสัตว์ได้ลงมาปฏิสนธิครรภ์เมื่อเห็นว่าพระมารดาบริสุทธิ์ด้วยศีล ดังนั้น ความบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระครรภ์จึงเกิดจากการที่พระนางทรงถือศีลด้วย พระโพธิสัตว์ทรงเลือกพระครรภ์อันบริสุทธิ์เพื่อมาถือกำเนิดด้วย ส่วนความบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระครรภ์ของพระนางมารีย์ เกิดขึ้นมาจากพระนางเป็นหญิงสาวที่ยังบริสุทธิ์ หรือหญิงพรหมจารี (virgin) ยังมิได้มีการสมรสหรือมีเพศสัมพันธ์กับชายใด พระครรภ์ถือกำเนิดขึ้นมาเพราะอำนาจของพระเจ้า (God) ได้ส่งพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์หรือบุตรของพระองค์ลงมาจุติในครรภ์ของพระนางมารีย์ ด้วยพระประสงค์ที่จะมาช่วยมนุษย์ให้รอดพ้นด้วยการไถ่บาป พระครรภ์นั้นบริสุทธิ์ด้วยกายของมารดา  และพระวิญญาณของบุตรพระเจ้า

เมื่อนำมาเปรียบเทียบแล้วพบว่าความบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระครรภ์ของพระนางสิริมหามายากับพระนาง มารีย์ มีความแตกต่างกัน โดยพิจารณาที่ความบริสุทธิ์เป็นเหตุ ความบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระครรภ์ของ พระนางสิริมหามายาไม่ได้พิจารณาถึงความบริสุทธิ์ทางกายเพียงอย่างเดียว แต่พิจารณาไปถึงความบริสุทธิ์ภายในจิต ใจ เพราะพระนางเป็นผู้ถือศีลอยู่ในขณะนั้น พระครรภ์บริสุทธิ์ด้วยศีล ส่วนความบริสุทธิ์แห่ง  พระครรภ์ของพระนางมารีย์ พิจารณาด้านมองด้านร่างกายและพระวิญญาณเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ คือ พระนางมีกายอันประเสริฐด้วยพรหมจารี และพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ของพระเจ้า สร้างบุตรผู้มาเกิดในครรภ์เป็นเหตุ จึงเป็นที่มาของคำว่า “ปฏิสนธินิรมล” หรือเรียกว่า “พระครรภ์บริสุทธิ์”

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

This research has three objectives: (1) to study the pureness of the Queen Siri Mahamaya’s womb; (2) to study the pureness of the Blessed Mary’s womb; and (3) to comparatively study the pureness womb of the Queen Siri Mahamaya and the Blessed Mary. This study is of documentary research conducted by collecting data from documents, then analyzing and comparing them in order to be seen the similarity and difference.

The results of study were as follows:

The pureness of the Queen Siri Mahamaya’s womb took place from the observance of the holy precept that is regarded as the purity of mind and body, i.e., the abstinence of sexual intercourse with any men or her own husband due to it occurs in the duration of the observance of pure precept or celibacy. The Bodhisattva descended to be born in the Queen Siri Mahamaya’s womb, when the mother is purified with precept. So the pureness of the womb occurs from her precept-observance, and the Bodhisattva chooses the purified womb for his descending to be born as well.

The pureness of the Blessed Mary occurred from being celibate or virgin girl, she yet to marry or have sexual intercourse with any men. The womb took place because of the power of God that sent Holy Spirit or his son descending to be born in the Blessed Mary’s womb through his will, coming to help humans emancipated by redemption. Then, that womb is purified with the mother’s body and also the God’s Spirit. 

The womb’s pureness of the Queen Siri Mahamaya and the Blessed Mary is different on the cause of purity. The pureness of the Queen Siri Mahamaya’s womb was not seen only on the physical purity but was deeply seen inside the mind as the main cause, since, the Queen Siri Mahamaya, at that time, observed precept, at the same time, the womb occurred as well. The pureness of the Queen Siri Mahamaya’s womb occurs with precept, whereas, the pureness of the Blessed Mary’s womb is seen by her body and the Holy Spirit as the main cause, that is to say, she has the noble body with virginity, and the purified spirit of God that created the son who descended to be born in the womb as the main cause. This is called “unpolluted birth or purified womb.”
