บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

 วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้เรื่อง “การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบการพัฒนาคุณธรรมจริยธรรมในชุมชนระหว่างพุทธศาสนิกชนและคริสต์ศาสนิกชน: กรณีศึกษาชุมชนตำบลต้นตาล อำเภอสองพี่น้อง จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี” มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาการพัฒนาคุณธรรมจริยธรรมในชุมชนของพุทธศาสนิกชน 2) เพื่อศึกษาการพัฒนาคุณธรรมในชุมชนของคริสต์ศาสนิกชน  และ 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบการพัฒนาคุณธรรมจริยธรรมในชุมชนระหว่างพุทธศาสนิกชนและคริสต์ศาสนิกชน งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) โดยรวบรวมข้อมูลทั้งจากเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง และจากการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า

 การพัฒนาคุณธรรมจริยธรรมในชุมชนของพุทธศาสนิกชนเป็นการพัฒนาตามแนวทางพุทธศาสนาที่สำคัญ 2 ด้าน คือ 1) พัฒนาพฤติกรรม (ศีล) 2) พัฒนาด้านจิต (สมาธิ) ทำให้การพัฒนาบุคคลมีจิตใจที่สูงมีคุณธรรมนำชีวิตและพัฒนาสังคมมีความสงบสุข

  การพัฒนาคุณธรรมในชุมชนของคริสต์ศาสนิกชนเป็นการพัฒนาบุคคลให้มีความรัก และการให้อภัยเมตตาช่วยเหลือผู้อื่น โดยยึดหลักการประพฤติตามบัญญัติ 10 ประการ ทำให้การพัฒนาสังคมเป็นด้วยสันติภาพและสันติสุข

 จากการเปรียบเทียบพบว่า การพัฒนาคุณธรรมจริยธรรมในชุมชนของพุทธศาสนิกชนและคริสต์ศาสนิกชน มีนัยยะที่สอดคล้องกันในฐานะเป็นการช่วยพัฒนาชุมชน ได้แก่ การพัฒนาบุคคล ให้มีความประพฤติที่ดีงาม การพัฒนาสังคม ให้มีความรักและสามัคคี ทำให้สังคมมีความสงบสุข

บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ

This thesis entitled It is the qualitative research, the objectives are; 1) to study the ethics development in Buddhist community, 2) to study the ethics development in Christian community, and 3) to comparative study of the ethics development between Buddhist and Christian communities. It is used of the qualitative research with the study from the mainly analysis of documents and the field study by surveying data from participant observation and In-dept interviews. It is found that:-

The ethics development in Buddhist community is the development in Buddhism, it is of  two mainly importance; (sīla, samādhi, development), these are the causes of development of person to be higher mind and having ethic leading life, and developing peaceful society.

The ethics development in Christian community is to develop people give loving to each other, forgive to others, and help each other by the practice the Ten Commandments, it is the cause of development of society to be happy and peaceful.

From comparative found that, the development of the ethics between Buddhist and Christian communities is the significance corresponding as helping the development of community such as the personnel development is to be good behavior, the social development is to have love, harmony and making society peaceful.
