การศึกษาวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการ คือ  (1)  เพื่อศึกษาหลักการพูดในทัศนะของเดลคาร์เนกี้  (2) เพื่อศึกษาหลักการพูดในทัศนะพระพุทธศาสนา  และ (3) เพื่อวิเคราะห์หลักการพูดของเดลคาร์เนกี้ตามหลักการพูดในพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท  การศึกษาวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงเอกสาร 

                        เดลคาร์เนกี้ เป็นชื่อผู้ที่ได้ผลิตหลักสูตรด้านการพูด ชื่อว่าหลักสูตรเดล คาร์เนกี้ ซึ่งเป็นการนำหลักจิตวิทยามาประยุกต์ใช้ในการศิลปะการฝึกพูด ส่วนการพูดในพระพุทธศาสนา เรียกว่าวจีสุจริต 4 คือ ไม่พูดเท็จ ไม่พูดหยาบ ไม่พูดเพ้อเจอ ไม่พูดเหลวไหล นอกจากนี้ยังมีคำอื่นๆ คือ วาจาสุภาษิต ปิยวาจา สัมมาวาจา เป็นต้น

                        หลักการพูดของเดลดาร์เนกี้ตามทรรศนะพระพุทธศาสนา สรุปได้ดังนี้ คาร์เนกี้ นำวิธีการฝึกพูด ที่จะประสบผลสำเร็จ  4 อย่าง คือ (1) เรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์ผู้อื่น  (2) ตั้งจุดหมายไว้ตรงหน้า  (3) กำหนดจิตไว้ที่ความสำเร็จ (4) จงฝึกพูดในทุกโอกาส และพูดด้วยคำไพเราะ จากประเด็นนี้สรุปได้ว่า ข้อแรก มีสอดคล้องกับหลักปรโตโฆสะ ข้อที่สอง มีสอดคล้องกับหลักธรรมคืออย่าสนใจอดีตมากจนเกินไป จงมีชีวิตอยู่กับปัจจุบัน  ข้อที่สาม มีสอดคล้องกับที่ว่า จงลงมือทำเสียตั้งแต่วันนี้ อย่าพลัดวันประกันพรุ่ง และข้อสุดท้าย มีสอดคล้องกับพุทธที่ว่า มนุษย์จะประเสริฐได้ด้วยการฝึก และความดีทำได้ทุกโอกาส

                The Principles of Speaking of Del Carnegie based on the vision of Buddhism Summarized as follows; Carnegie brings practice coaching, to accomplish public speaking technique 4 points (1) Experiential of others learning of cycle theory (2) set up destination in front (3) set a goal for success (4) When you speak of training an every opportunity and kindly speak be well-arranged. From this point it is concluded; the first one corresponds with the principle of Dhamma ‘Hearing or learning from others or Paratogosa’. The second one corresponds with the principle of Dhamma ‘Whatever could have been or should have been, doesn't matter’. The third corresponds ‘Just do this waiting for this day’. And the final the fourth one corresponds with the principle of Dhamma ‘Humans are good by training. And good at every opportunity’
